“My wife and I just had the best Thai food we've had in a long time.

Started with two appetizers. The Thai Crepe was a thin thai crepe, lightly crisp rice flour with incredibly seasoned veggies and tofu with a condiment of pickled diced radish and carrot. The flavors and textures were perfect together. The veggie dumplings looked like little flowers. The dough was thin and light, seasoned perfectly.

That's a running theme here--perfect aromatic seasoning.

Entrees were equally delicious. Massaman curry with shrimp. Veggies saturated in the sauce with a generous portion of shrimp. It had just a hint of hot to blend exactly right with the sweetness. So good. Veggie tofu pad Thai was great. Noodles had the perfect bite and, once again, seasoned beautifully.

We also got a pot of green tea which complemented the meal perfectly. Joe, our server, was super attentive and friendly and kept our pot filled. His wife was doing the cooking--and what a great cook she is!

Got dessert to go: mango sticky rice. Joe said we'd love it because the mango was so sweet. He was right! And the rice had the perfect bite.

“First time trying Korean food since it’s halal although a lot of the items were not available to order what I did order was and although for my taste looks bland specially the soup it was very very delicious I ordered the fried chicken bowl with sweet sauce and it was great portion size even my toddler liked it“

“There is not a more satisfying mall food court pad thai than the dish my partner and I order from Thai Max. We've tried their pad thai, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, mixed vegetables, spicy chicken, bbq chicken, and fried banana and it's all been fresh, hot, and delicious.

Is it the same Thai food that one could expect from a standalone restaurant? Absolutely not!

But if there's a craving for cheap, fast, fresh, and hot Thai food... Thai Max will satisfy.

Portion sizes are absolutely huge. The pad thai is always made fresh on the wok while we wait.

We've been to Thai Max at various times of the year - the busy Christmas season, a slow Monday morning in the springtime - and regardless of the level of traffic at the mall, Thai Max is solidly consistent.“

“Really yummy! Ideal Chinese takeout. I got the steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken combo and everything was delicious and well seasoned! Very flavorful. The dumplings were homemade and you could tell from the thick chewy skin. The egg roll was quite oily but everything else was outstanding so that was fine. Special shout out to the dumpling sauce - I want to know how to make it!! So delicious. Take your own sauces too which I love. I always want extra. Took a while but that was because everything was being made from scratch! Big portions too, this is feeding me for lunch the next day too and I still have a bit left for a snack!“

“I wish I knew this place sooner! The owner was so inviting and amazing . I ordered 2 items, I came into the store not only was she nice, but she also made FRESH chive dumplings for me to eat while I was watiting for my food. Not only that she got me a free dessert to try and a free thai tea for my wife to try as well. NOT giving five stars because of the free food etc. But the food and drinks were actually AMAZING. I'm a vietnamese/ malaysian and Thai food reminds me of home. It's hard to find good thai food here in new jersey. Now that I've tried this place out I will be back for more! The location can be easily missed, if not paying atttention but please you guys gotta give it a try TRUST!“

I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! “So glad someone recommended this place to my wife and I! It's in a strip mall but the inside is well-decorated and very clean. The menu is interesting, with both spicy and non-spicy options. We had one of the evening's specials, shrimp dumplings, as well as the Salmon Prik and the Drunken Noodles. All three were excellent. Also ordered the appetizer sampler - good but not up to the high standard of the other dishes. Ended the meal with fried bananas and vanilla ice cream. “Absolutely incredible !!! Small place with a great vibe inside, and the food is just to die for. There were two other tables of people when we were there and they both told us how incredible this place is and the dishes they recommended and that they come here all the time. I'll definitely be back!! I had the sambal sauce Malaysian entree with shrimp and it was sooo delicious, and I usually am not a huge fan of shrimp but it was cooked so perfectly and fit the flavor palette so well. 5 stars!!!“

“i had the chicken spring rolls and spicy bamboo shrimp and i liked both. are they the best thai food i've ever had? probably not. did i enjoy this meal that came up to an whooping 15 bucks? absolutely! somehow this was my fav meal in philly so far including cc from multiple wellknown shops. this is what i call asian comfort food and can't beat the price in this economy. spring rolls were warm and crispy the filling not overly salty which i appreciated. the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than sweet which is exactly how i like it. will have to try other dishes soon. keep up the good work!“

“We just moved to the area from Ocean County. We enjoy going out to many restaurants when we go to different places and we especially love good sushi. We first tried other sushi places around the area that were rated highly on google (in other areas we have felt Google is usually accurate), and were very disappointed with the quality of the sushi at those places. We found this place and saw that it had all you can eat sushi and originally were not expecting much due to the reviews. However, we were blown away by the quality of the sushi. We ordered multiple rounds of different fish, especially their salmon, as shown in our photo. This is some of the highest quality sushi we have ever had. We can't speak for the other food since we have now always done the AYCE sushi. But, we can not recommend this restaurant enough, we now find ourselves always craving their sushi! We spoke to the family owners and they were very nice. I really have never written a review for a restaurant, but I had to! They have some of the highest quality sushi you can get on the east coast, make sure to try it out!“

“I dined here for a friends birthday dinner and overall enjoyed my experience. We were a large party but the staff here did extremely well with serving us. They greeted us politely and sat us down as soon as we walked in. I loved the atmosphere and music they played in the background as well! Some really good 90s-early 2000s R&B! The food was really good as well. The portion sizes they give are huge for the prices they charge. I had the dry pepper wings, miso soup, and shrimp. Everything was seasoned well and fulfilling. The only complaint I would have are some of the non alcoholic drinks. The lemonade was entirely too sweet as well as the mango citrus drink. Other than that, everything was good and I'd recommend dining here!“

“we ordered delivery from Asian chef tonight, and when I got my order (bento box with salmon teriyaki, rice, shrimp shumai, and cucumber avocado roll). Instead of salmon, I ended up receiving shrimp teriyaki. I wasn’t going to call but I figured I may as well just let them know- the employee who answered the phone was so nice and apologetic, and immediately offered to bring me the correct protein that I ordered. I accepted the offer and asked if he wanted me to return the untouched shrimp order, but he said to keep it! then, I expected them to just deliver me the salmon to add to the meal, but they brought me an ENTIRE other bento box with the salmon! I was so shocked! not only that, but they also returned the cash to make up the difference in price on the order. they did NOT have to do that, but it shows so much about their restaurant. we also ordered some sushi, drunken noodles, and a seaweed salad and it did not disappoint at all. we will be ordering from asian chef again soon thanks to their kindness, and their excellent quality food!!“
