“Was in Linden running errand and saw this Peruvian chicken place and knew it was a done deal for lunch. So clean, and staff is attentive from the minute you walk in. Had the roasted chicken, fried rice, green salad and fried yucca — all very delicious. Special shout out to Melanie for her service!“

“I love this place. I stopped here because it piqued my interest. I got the vegetable chaufa with added chicken and a choco bread pudding to go.

Absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the pink sauce added into the chaufa, it was so sweet and added a nice touch of a different flavor. One employee and asked me how it was and explained how the pink sauce was made.

The place is so warm and cozy and the people that work there are so friendly. One of the workers had given a postal worker a drink for free while they were dropping off the mail. It was such a nice act of kindness that warmed my heart.

“I was in town to visit to see cats at Rahway Kitty Hall. This restaurant is right next store. I stopped into get something to eat. I was impressed with the ambience of the restaurant. My Spanish is not so great, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food I had was very good. I am interested in people from other cultures and their food. I will surely go there again and try another dish.“

“My experience here was good. I loved the food. I tried a little bit of everything they had like the ribs, rice, and soup. The restaurant is tiny inside but they do have enough tables if you prefer to eat inside. I’m not sure what the theme or culture of the place is, all I know it’s hispanic. The portions are pretty big and worth the cost-I had more than enough for a decent lunch the next day.

“The food is amazing , I’ve tried many Peruvian spots in the Elizabeth / linden / Rahway areas and this place has the best of them all , great flavor to the food the portions are big and it’s affordable , only bad side is that they never answer the phone which is a huge issue because you have to go in person to order which is very time consuming. “Luchitas Bakery – A Peruvian Delight with Great Flavor and Quality

I was looking for a cake for a special occasion and came across Luchitas Bakery online, so I decided to give it a try. The service was good from the start, which is always a positive sign. To test the quality first, I ordered a few desserts.

We tried a lemon pie that was decent—not extraordinary but pleasant. The Black Forest cake was definitely the highlight—very tasty with a great balance of flavors. We also had a tres leches cake that wasn’t too sweet, just how I like it, and it was really good.

After these tastings, I decided to order a small cake for $60. The prices are a bit higher compared to other Peruvian bakeries, so we initially thought this would be a one-time option.

However, when I went to pick up the cake, I was pleasantly surprised. Although it looked small in size, the cake’s height was impressive, and it was beautifully decorated. Once I tasted it, I confirmed it was worth every penny—it was truly delicious.

If you don’t mind spending a little extra for a great-tasting, well-presented cake, I would definitely recommend giving Luchitas Bakery“

“So… I walked into this bar to watch my Bears play the 9rs… When I walked in… I thought I walked into a “wooop”. The 7 gang I mean 9er gang was having a new members meeting, and forgot to lock the door. It was like a blue dot in the middle of maxi pad, I was like Yooooo ?!?!?. So I did what any logical Bears fan would do, WENT TO THE VIP SECTION and looked over the crowd of red in discus while sipping on my cold brew and eating some of the best finger food. The owner/manager was cool the 9ers fans was cool and welcoming 💯 Soild group of Gang Members lol Yooo they got a whole niner gang theme song on every TD and every first down is celebrated “Whhooop” lmao 🏳️‍🌈(Pause) No but really I had a great time my team didn’t get the win but I will be back and I am bringing my crew!!! 💯“
