“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. Friendly service and vintage interior decor make this sandwich shop a great stop along Woodbridge Avenue. Pictured is the tuna with pickles on the side.“

This establishment is not only black owned, their food is amazing! I didn’t expect for their Italian hot dog to have so much flavor & it was plain!! The only thing I suggest is salting their fries or maybe you have to ask them for that option, it could be. Overall I will be trying more things off the menu & have found my new deli spot.“

All in all Comet Pizza is my favorite thing since Russell Crowe screamed 'Are you not entertained?!' in the hit motion picture Gladiator back in 2000. I’d fight a tiger in the arena for their pepperoni pie.
