“Love ordering from this place! You get free appetizer item if you pay cash. Really only for take away or delivery don’t think there’s much in dining. I’ve been getting delivery for almost 15 years now. But staff nice. They forgot our edamame once n drove back out to drop off. The sushi n bento boxes are really good n fresh. Thai good n best spring rolls ever. Little pricey but good quality. Haven’t tried much of Chinese menu they have.“

“This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. “This is hands down the best restaurant in NJ right now. The 8 course tasting menu is phenomenal, each dish balanced with unique flavors and texture, and beautiful plated. Our server explained each dish in detail, was extremely knowledgeable of the ingredients and dishes, and very friendly. He consistently topped off our drinks as needed and meticulously provided a new place setting for each course. The ambiance was very relaxing as we sat on the 2nd floor, with beautiful hip, modern decor. I was particularly intrigued by the faucet in the bathroom which was very unique. The overall attention to detail from the concept and design to the food and service is what sets it apart. Fine dining at its best with a relaxed atmosphere that easily compares to a Michelin star restaurant.

Came out to $12. A good price for lunch,but I should have asked for some more sauce packets. I would deliver here but they're so far away from my house ?. “The food is good but when I walked in and saw those poor fish in a tank that is too small for them it really upset me. You need to get a bigger tank and a canister filter like the Fluval 407. It will keep the fish smell down and a bigger tank would be beneficial to the fish. It just broke my heart. If you can't take care of them find them a good home.“

I've tried other Chinese takeout places in the area, and China Wok is the only one that I've been satisfied with. I love their Crab Rangoon and like to get Beef Chow Fun. However when it comes to the food? Do it. “This chinese food is the best ive had in a very long time!!! The boneless spare ribs are meaty!!! Not little tiny slivers of chipped meat. The rice was beautiful done, flavorful and it comes with egg! The general tsao chicken was beautifully crispy, not soggy even after taking it to go!! The wonton soup broth was flavorful unlike most places that taste like chicken water. The wontons themselves were also flavorful. I will be a new regular after avoiding Chinese food for years“

“The food here is great. Ordered a couple chicken burgers from here and I have to say, some of the best chicken I’ve had. I love the unique use of veg in the burger and even as leftovers it tasted great. I have to say, this is in my top eats from nyc. Phenomenal.“

“A small takeout Chinese eatery with a fairly standard menu selection bearing high average prices. Hong Kong Express serves americanized Chinese fare. Set in a small strip mall, there seems to be adequate parking. Upon entering, the first impression is clean. Featuring newer furnishings, decor and construction. As a child took my order and payment, this is clearly a family business.
So I've only had one dish at this place. I can say for freshness of ingredients, it's excellent. For amount of meat added, average. Unfortunately my dish was extremely bland. I had to add 7 packets of various sauce and that was still not enough. As I make this dish at home, the main sauce is soy. I wish I had grabbed more.
Speaking of sauce, no sauce, forks, chopsticks or napkins were added or offered. I'm glad I checked and added on my own.
This business succeeds in 2 major ways most other Chinese places don't (freshness and cleanliness). I hope I just caught an off dish. I'd return, but until I had a better dish, I wouldn't recommend.“

“I ordered here for take out last night and they were so friendly. I watched from the car as my partner picked up the food and the people in the restaurant were super smiley and friendly. The entire pick up process was so simple and fast (seconds literally) which is what we wanted.

The 2 chicken teriyaki ramen we ordered were so properly packed- with a plastic separator between the soup and ramen + other toppings so it doesn’t sit in the soup and get soggy!! Will definitely be coming to try their other items !!“
