While they maybe be understaffed at the moment, the staff still manages to make you feel like you’re at Nonna’s house when you’re there. I suggest getting a #18 with pickled peppers!Maybe they should have some grab and go sandwich options!“

The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.“

“So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“Sal has sold out and gone up North but the workers like Shorty have stayed on with the new owners, prices have gone up, but the grill is still pumping out great hot eats, but stay away from the fries and deep fried stuff as the oil often looks like motor oil, at least walk over to the back and observe the color before you think about the fries, otherwise it's a great place for a hot or cold sandwich and a drink“

“Your staff is great, the food is delicious and the menu is huge! I have 3 favorites, 2 involve bacon! 😜 Both the Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Salad ( I had today) and the BLT sandwich I sometimes have for breakfast. I personally don’t know anyplace like this that you can hear the bacon sizzling, cooked fresh, to put in ( usually it is dry and overcooked and time the side). These are in huge strips! Yum! Also, when I want to splurge, their freshly squeezed orange juice is perfectly sweet ( I ask for it without ice). Small but mighty! I only wish they had a turkey burger!“
