“When my brothers were kids, they would stop to eat at Hiram"s on their way back from Palisade's Amusement Park. My mom would always ask why. My brothers replied, "the food is better at Hiram's! When I worked for Thomas J. Lipton in Englewood Cliffs, my co-workers and I went to Hiram's for lunch often. I plan on going very soon! I so love Hiram's for the food and it's longevity.“

Had the Maracucha Burger, Medianoche, Capitaleno Dog, and Venezuelan Dog.
Burger was the best thing from this order.
Pernil was alright in general but you can find better.
Definitely get your money's worth here.

“Try the Baked beans and Cole Slaw hot dog. Excellent. My Dad goes there every Monday for dinner. They treat him so well there. I really appreciate everyone that works there. I rate them 4 thumbs up 👍👍👍👍“

“Kosher Heaven by 7 Eleven in Airmont is my go-to spot. The hot dogs are always tasty and the fries are hot and crispy every time. Chaim, the owner, is super friendly and really takes care of his customers. It’s a great place to grab a quick, satisfying bite with good energy and solid service“

“My buddy talked highly of this place so I gave it a shot. In less than a month I've made the trip 3 times and can't wait foe the next. The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I say craft because these aren't generic combinations, theyre thought out combinations and flavors that work perfectly in whatever way you like. It's my favorite hot dog spot I've ever visited. I can't wait to go again!“

“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. You can tell it is a true labor of love for them. Cin-cin ladies!“

“Righteous 💪 worth the trip, worth the money. Take a moment and tip the staff slicing and preparing your food. Absolutely worthwhile to make the trip. I drove 45 minutes out of my way to try the food and I’m happy I made the effort, my craving was satisfied.“

“This place is just amazing! There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different. Everything we got was delicious- we all tried each other's dishes. There's a little bit of everything to satisfy even the pickiest eater. I would just drive her (over a 2 hour drive for me) just to come eat here. I need this place closer to home, lol.“

“Nestled in the heart of Closter, Café Mia is a cool spot where you can score awesome Korean snacks and amazing sandwiches. They've got my favorite fresh BLTE(gg)A(vocado) sandwiches to Korean rice roll 'Kimbop' that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. Plus, Mia, the owner, is super nice, and the staff are always friendly. So if you're ever in the mood for practicing some balls and good eats in a laid-back atmosphere, Café Mia is where it's at.“
