“I have to say I was EXHAUSTED today when I went in to order dinner for my four crazy kids (7,6,5, and 3), my husband and self. I had the four kids with me and trying to keep them under some control - they weren’t terrible but not great. I ordered four kids meals and two adult meals. As I went to pay the cashier let me know the adult meals were on the manager!!! This MADE MY DAY!!! Seriously this stressed out tired mama was and IS so grateful - what an amazingly kind gesture that has completely turned a not so great day into an awesome one. Every penny helps with a family of 6 in Bergen County - this is HUGE and we are so very grateful!!!“

“My husband and I recently had dinner at Cantina 46, and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed the skirt steak with shrimp, lamb chops, and guacamole, paired with tamarind and guava mojitos. The atmosphere was very pleasant, enhanced by a live singer. I would definitely visit Cantina 46 again.

“When to celebrate a birthday with family. We had great time! We chose the Sunday's brunch menu, trully recomemded it for a large group. Drinks and food were really good. The host did a great job and we got tequila's shots on the house from the manager :)! Everyone loved the new theme of the restaurant. We will come back for sure!“

This is a small restaurant but so festive and beautiful! They cooked the food with love. Me and my wife had the Birria Pizza. The meat was cooked well and the pizza stood in tact.“

The service was impeccable from the host to our server everyone knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Now to the food, arguably some of the best Oaxacan cuisine I have tasted outside of Mexico. “I looked up what foods in the area were top rated and this little restaurant popped up. So I went for a try. Got the steak nachos and WOW. Everything taste fresh and even the chip were crispy fresh and taste homemade. The crema, beans, steak well seasoned, guacamole all paired wonderfully and perfect portions of each. I hate getting nachos with 80% chips, 10% beans and barely any protein. This place knows exactly what they’re doing and I can’t wait to try other stuff on their menu. “Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had!
I found this restaurant through a TikTok video that mentioned they serve barbacoa de chivo (tender goat meat) on weekends—so I decided to take my dad here for Father’s Day. We ordered the birria tacos with handmade tortillas, and let me tell you… those tortillas are a 10/10—absolutely worth it!

My dad got the ribeye, and he gave it a solid 10/10 as well. Of course, we came for the barbacoa, and it did not disappoint. Words can’t describe how good it was tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.

The drinks were also amazing. My mom loved the tamarind, and I personally went for the Jamaica. Both perfectly refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness to complement the food.

To top it all off, we had the homemade flan and churros absolutely delicious.

But what really made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Shoutout to Alex and Paulina for taking the time to explain the menu and make sure everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Their hospitality was top-tier.

This is a family-owned Mexican restaurant that I would 100% recommend to anyone in the area—or even if you have to make a little trip. It’s so worth it! 🙌🏼🌮🇲🇽“

“Have been going here for 20+ years now. Food is always fast and consistent and they have the best chimichangas anywhere. I've been unable to find ones anywhere else that come close! I used to live nearby but now that i moved out of state, i always make it a point to stop here when back in the area.“

Everything was very fresh & obviously cooked for the order (not in advance ) Nachos & Guacamole are great starters. “Decades ago I used to frequent a bar in the Village called Burrito Loco. We always had the same server/bartender. I went there A LOT. Fast forward to about 10 years ago. I was living in Pal Park and I had a craving for Mexican food. I saw this place in Fort Lee and I decided to go there to eat. It's a moderately sized place with nice decorations. Festive, clean and well lit. I'm not sure what I ordered (probably enchiladas or a shrimp dish) but I do remember it being pretty good. During this visit our waiter (the owner) said to me "you used to go to Burrito Loco right? I remember you". What?! I could not believe it! It had been over 2 decades since I had been there! I guess I left a lasting impression back then and hadn't aged much (yellow don't mellow lol). To this day I am still shocked! Anyway, while living in Pal Park I ordered from here once in a while. Delivery always took forever! Currently I live back in my hometown of Englewood. There are a few great authentic Mexican places nearby (no, not Blue Moon. It's not "authentic", it's Tex-mex......I worked there for 4 years a long time ago). I was in the mood for a different Mexican place so I decided to order from here through GrubHub. The food came earlier than estimated and was still nice and hot. Portions were great, order was packed well, and they sent free chips and salsa (I hate when places don't send chips and salsa or bread for free when it's free when you dine in). Everything was very good, but fell short on a couple of things......the shredded beef in the tacos was surprisingly bland. I felt horrible for my man because it was the only thing he had (he doesn't eat rice & beans). My burrito Poblano was awesome BUT not nearly enough of that delicious mole sauce. They need to put some of that sauce inside the burrito too. Overall I will definitely order from here again. Maybe I'll even stop in to say hi to Arturo!“

“I used to go to the one in Middletown, NY when I was a kid. The inside decor is fun 🤩 with a nod to theme restaurants of the past. I very much enjoyed my entree with a jalapeño sauce and a white sauce, the margarita was a bit sweet, the guacamole 🥑 appetizer was excellent and freshly made. We will definitely go back to with our kids. Prices were fairly high from $25 to $35 per entree, but I understand in 2023 with inflation at a time highs, everything has increased in price. Overall, a fun and authentic restaurant which is oriented to celebrations.“
