Best spot in the neighborhood for delicious, authentic Mexican food! A small storefront with a mighty team - the wonderful woman who usually works the front (Maria) is very friendly and helpful! The food is always made quickly, and always tastes amazing! Gracias, Trocitos De Mexico for being my favorite go-to neighborhood fix! ❤️
I had chilaquiles a few different times. Consistently good. No skimping. The salsa roja has a good amount of dried chile flavor, and tortillas don't get mushy too fast. I've tried them verdes too; much more acidic and fruity/vegetal, not surprisingly. With the pretty heavy amount of crema and queso, red works better for me with its heartiness and more typical savoriness.

The spot is super small. Only 3 stools available for seating. The food was delicious! I had the chicken, steak and pork tacos. All three were delicious but the pork taco was soooo good. The pork meat is mixed with ear. It’s the ‘mixto’ pork taco. The staff is very friendly. When I’m back I want to try the birria and al pastor proteins.
