“I recently visited Koko Loko cafe in New Brunswick and had the pleasure of trying their Pistachio Latte and Caramel Latte. While both drinks were enjoyable, the Pistachio Latte truly stole the show.

The Pistachio Latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich, nutty flavor that wasn’t overly sweet but still indulgent. It had a creamy texture that complemented the espresso beautifully, making every sip an absolute delight. It’s one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more even after the last drop.

The Caramel Latte was good as well, with a classic sweetness and smooth finish, but it didn’t quite compare to the unique and standout flavor of the Pistachio Latte. If you’re deciding between the two, I’d highly recommend going for the pistachio—it’s a game changer!

The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu, but the Pistachio Latte is already a favorite.

“Sandwich is toasted, crispy outside and soft inside. Sausage and veggie are fresh. Less mayonnaise would make it perfect but it’s personal preference. It missed one star because it took a while to get the food ready. Worthy it but too long for breakfast and can only afford it for weekend.“

If you go elsewhere you find this to be less an issue. “Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! “I love this cozy spot in the main downtown of South Amboy. Their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good, which is exactly what I needed. The Java Dave's special is my perfect order with pork roll (or bacon), egg and cheese with a hash brown. The girls working there are very sweet and attentive. Check it out if you're in the area.

“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. It’s a small place, with tables. A surprisingly large menu, with lots of choices. Gabriela took our order, which was made on the spot and well packaged for the trip home.
