I love a real family place. They had all different specials hung up and even had black cherry soda and root beer in the glass bottle. “Since 1970... 12/29/23 Stopped in earlier to pick up lunch. Ordered 2 cold half sandwiches. I'll stress that you should look a menu beforehand. As this place is tiny. It's easy to drive right by if you don't know the area. They were turkey & Swiss plus a roast beef with provolone. My roast beef was shaved with the works. The bread is soft and pillowy. Best bread I've had in a deli around central NJ. Easily :) Staff is very efficient. Prices are reasonable. Each cost about $8. You really don't have to order a whole sandwich. Reading other reviews for this place they mention about 3 and 6 foot heroes for catering purposes. Something to consider for a holiday party. Enjoy.“
“I always drive by this place and since my son is off, took him there. The staff was nice and made sure that us being there for the first time knew exactly what we were ordering. I got a turkey sandwich and my son got the chicken cutlet. Both sandwiches were amazing and my son complimented that this was the best he had and like wise same for me. I asked him what would u rate it he gave 5 stars out of 5. So for a ten year old think he knows what he's talking about. Will be coming back here often.Parking: They have a parking lot in the back but didn't get a chance to go in as that street is busy so I parked on a side street.“

“I love a good sub and couldn't wait to give this spot a try. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I ordered from a nice young lady, Paige. I ordered the raging bull and the chipotle chicken wrap. It took about 10 minutes. The sandwiches were big and filling. I really enjoyed both sandwiches, especially the ragging bull. Not enough to make a mess of my hands while I ate, but enough to sauce up the roll. Super delicious. They're also arranged on the sandwich so you get a bite of egg yolk in most bites, which is the optimal bite of a breakfast sandwich, imo.It's a cute little restaurant, too. Not a ton of seating inside, but the funky art on almost every surface of the walls gives you plenty to look at while you scarf down whatever tasty things you decide to order. “I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“

The guy I spoke to confirmed they did forget the wings and will have them delivered. One hr later I called and guy said he just sent the wings well two hrs later I’m still waiting and I can’t call because they are closed. They called me and made things right. Thank you! My family and friends have special dietary requirements and Alfredo's has always been able to accommodate. They use Boar's Head meat and the roast beef has won me over in comparison to sandwich chains. Their chicken, tuna, and egg salads are great too! This is an old school NJ delicatessen.
