“Food is fine, standard taste, a bit greasy. We were hungry and the food satisfied us. The service center is spacious, not crowded and tables are relatively clean. The servers at Panda Express didn’t look happy though. Kinda rushed us to pick things quickly and had sad/mad looking all the time.“

“Went because it has gluten free. Had reservation. Host said we would be next, as soon as a couple left. A couple of guys came in and greeted one of the servers. The couple left the table and the server went to seat her friends. The host stopped her and sat us. Kudos to the host. The other diners were very friendly, even offering tastes of their meal. I
ordered gluten free king pao chicken. It was a bit heavy on celery and salt, and a bit light on chicken. But, it's been so long since I've had Chinese food, I didn't care. Super fresh food. We would definitely go back.“

“I ordered fried dumplings and Chicken Fried rice. The texture of the rice is good but the taste is a little blunt. But adding the hot sauce made it good to eat. I guess I forgot to say to make it spicy. But the taste is really good. With the fried dumpling it's still hot by the time we got home. That's good. But I recommend eating in the restaurant or as soon as possible. if you ordered pick-up, just remember that there is a chance that it gets soggy by the time you get home, but the taste was still good. Overall, I like it!“

“It’s rated 5 star in the internet so I order food by phone. It was delivered on time as promised. There’s a little mixed up on my order that they immediately corrected. They don’t argue, accept their fault and send me the right one. Food are great, personnel are courteous, service are excellent. I ordered chicken wings with fried rice, beef with broccoli, tofu with mixed veggies and house special chow mein.“

“We were planning a big party at our HOA and after trying almost a dozen Chinese Restaurants, that did catering, we tried Cheng Garden.
We knew we'd found gold when every dish we tested tasted like what we ordered, instead of all having one flavor. The chicken, beef & pork were tender and not fatty, the vegetables were fresh and crispy and the flavors were delightful.
They couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with and their prices were right in line.
On the day of the party, all the trays were ready for pick up at the specified time, packed in boxes and piping hot. One box was accidentally left behind and Cheng Garden immediately ran it over.
But the best part of all was that everyone loved the food. The party was in June and we're still getting great reviews and members requesting Cheng's address.

“I’ve gone to Cheng Garden in Dayton, NJ for years. Always been great food, friendly service, and affordable. I’ve tried multiple dishes and never been disappointed. The Mala dishes have been a long-time favorite and I can’t find anywhere else that even offers them. At the moment, I don’t live or even work nearby, but will often take the drive just to order from the there. Highly recommended!“

There were a lot of vegetables in the noodles including bamboo shoot, cabbage, peppers, and the meat. I don't know if I actually got extra shrimp in it for the extra $2 because it seemed like a normal amount of shrimp. I guess that's just how restaurants are these days. “I eat here as often as I can and every time has been a great experience. It’s a great self service restaurant where you can enjoy some alone time in a nice, clean environment and eat a hearty meal.

Some of my favorite entrees include the Spicy Asian Noodles, the Soft Tofu Stew with seafood, the Black Bean Noodles, any of the K-Maki/Kimbap, and the Sweet and Sour Pork, which is especially great because you can choose to have the sauce on the side so it stays crispy when you take home leftovers. The Hot Stone Bibimbap also seems to be quite popular, but I’ve yet to try it—no matter what you order, you can count on it being tasty and authentic. The portion sizes are also quite large for the price, which I appreciate.

Additionally, the service is great and the workers are all very nice. The owner is especially attentive, always noticing whether you may need extra serving spoons, baby utensils, etc. She also remembers every customer and their specific food preferences and treats everyone so kindly.

Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious. Could not stop eating.The staff are great but do not speak english and their online menu is also unclear. Its best to get the printed menu. We are so excited to try all their other dishes. “Nice little spot right next to my house, the staff is very friendly and welcomes you as soon as you walk in. I ordered the pork dumplings which were okay, I love dumplings but I like them made a very particular way which some places do and some places don’t, the house fried rice was delicious as was the house Lo’mein. The General Tso was pretty good too, I like my chicken a little crispier but overall the sauce and spice level was almost spot on. Definitely a nice little spot for a rainy day or a family dinner.“
