“This weekend we celebrated by grandson's 3rd b'day in NYC. This was the 4th or5th event Ligia and her team created for us. Each and every time it exceeds our expectations. From baby showers to numerous large b'day events, the cakes and cookies are showstoppers. Everything not only looks fabulous but tastes amazing.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“Happen to bump into this bakery, when getting a came for my dad.
We bought a strawberry shortcake, that had other fruits on top. It was so pretty.
I also bought a piece of Mocha Cake because it's my favorite and they actually sold it by the slice, as well.

OMG, my parents, who don't have much of. Sweet tooth loved their cake. My mom, actually went for seconds.

And my Mocha SLICE, WAS AMAZING!!! I've tried several bakeries and most don't really impress me. But this one, MY FAVORITE. I PLAN ON going back to order a personalized Mocha Cake this summer for my birthday. I'm willing to drive the hour to go get it.

Also the bakery was clean, sell plenty of candles, cake toppers, and the staff was nice. I highly recommend.“

Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I will 100% be trusting all my future cakes to la bon from now on!“

My friends and family raved about the triple chocolate cake i picked up for my sisters birthday and my best friend and i enjoy a quiet breakfast and cafe on the weekends! “This is my go to Colombian bakery. I have been a loyal customer since 2012.
Their menu is limited if you are planning to dine in, however, it is quite reliable and consistent. It is pure comfort food.

If you are not that adventurous, I highly recommend their empanadas de carne (beef and potatoes) and pan de bono (cheese bread). Those are usually the favorites of any picky eaters that join us 😁“

“We where looking for a place to make my son’s perfect Mickey Mouse cake and when I Found Roxanna cakes on instagram and saw her work I knew I found the right place my son couldn’t stop looking at his cake he was touching it everyone loved the cake it was perfection and it tasted so good I provided a picture of what I wanted and definitely received exactly what I asked for.“

“I think the azúcar buffet is great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The food is amazing I love the service and the people who work here. Angelina and the other staff members are great. I love how they are always greeting me and everyone else saying good morning and good evening and make my day. I think the drinks are great. The buffet is really clean and neat. It’s one of my favorite buffets to go to. I would definitely recommend to go with family members it’s child friendly and there is no problems at all. The cafe is so pretty and pleasant to go into, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and it has parking next door which makes it a convenient stop. There are tables for you to eat there or you can take to go. Some of my favorites are the coquito latte and the baked beef empanadas. This place is a treasure.“
