“The place was empty for 1230pm on a Monday. Maybe because it was raining. Service and food was great! I never had any problems with the food at any Playa bowls. It's always consistent! Tons of flavor and crunch! I ordered the Nica bowl this time to try something different. It tasted great! Still, my favorite is the coco power bowl. Parking is a bit of a pain. You are in downtown Summit.“

Only thing is I placed an order online since I don't really like having to tell people orders such as my customized acai bowl [wasn't even complex though, just wasn't in the mood to verbally order it]. They claimed 15 minutes on the website and I understood. I went in a couple minutes later expecting to wait patiently but saw them making it right away, so I was happy. But then they stopped making it and had to take walk in orders. No biggie of course. Until all the walk ins got their bowls way before I did. I placed my order 10 minutes before the walk-ins did and mine wasn't even as complex or complicated. It definitely annoyed me a bit.

Only making this review to let people know you will have to wait 15-25 minutes when placing an online order, especially if they get many walk ins. In the future I will just make my order in my notes and walk in and say it to them next time.

Again, my bowl was delicious and the staff were friendly so I didn't even complain. Just letting the general public know what I learned. 👍“

“In addition to the tasty toasts and healthy smoothies -- with many diverse offerings and flavor profiles -- I loved the service more than anything.

The one item we didn't completely love when we went was our chai. Like many western chais, this one was too sweet. (To me, once it's that sweet, you lose all those aromatic notes of the ginger and cinnamon, but that's beside the point).

When I approached the workers with our feelings on the drink, they were quick to make a change without charging us. They completely remade the drink with less syrup, and it made a huge difference.

So, we we will definitely be back for a second visit! It's a great atmosphere, with fun options, and a helpful staff. Remaking that drink was really nice and showed they will do what's in their power to make your experience the best it can be.“

“I eat here for breakfast, lunch or dinner at least once a week for the past few months. Sometimes (most times) 4-5x a week. The food is delicious & the smoothies are perfect. (warning they are addicting) I lost over 25 lbs in 4 months. They really know how to make good food taste good. All of the staff is very friendly and patient with my annoying requests. I would like to specifically thank anna for always being so kind and asking literally every single time how is/was everything making sure my experience stays good. Half the time i forget to ask for a side of honey mustard or barbecue and if she’s the one taking the order she always remembers to throw one in there. Not to mention I had to go back and edit my comment after I read all the other comments and had to just state, every time I go into that place I have nothing but positive vibes from anyone and everyone behind that counter. I also happen know most of them on a first name basis just being a consistent customer and being how nice and friendly they all are!! BOTH LOCATIONS!! They literally make my day better just by them making a bomb a** smoothie/bowl. Also had to mention every time I have went in they are always busy working never seen anyone doing a tiktok?? Ive only ever seen them either with a line of customers, cleaning or taking out trash..? AND !! The fruit is ALWAYS deeeeelicious, fresh and RIPE ?? #nofilter … I thank God for PLAYABOWLS?
