“I would give it a 5 star if the food was bomb but it is good. I am vegan so only judging on that and thus far tried their vegan menu and it is not disappointing. Finally, a place where the drinks 🍹 taste good and proportioned well. I would recommend this place but the only thing on weekdays they run out of stuff which is ok but, call and make sure. I like this place so I will keep coming back…and the service is good.“

“I was delighted the other day when I popped into the playa bowl located in Summit NJ.
First of all the music was fantastic but the second I open the front door,I was greeted with a big beautiful smile accompanied with “how are you doing today, ma’am?”
Very sincere very authentic.
I had to ask the gal her name and I knew in an instant she must’ve been a manager.
Just the way she was having full control .
Her name is Iwlly.

What a lovely person.
She also had a young man working with her by the name of Dylan. I can’t say enough nice things about him as well.

I had a bit of a difficult order, but the both of them were very confident and assured me they had it down to a science.

Let me say my order was to perfection!!!!!!!!!

I love all of the Playa bowl shops, but this one takes the cake. It’s just so organized and so friendly and they’re never cheap or stingy with their toppings either.
I mean, let’s face it. Everything‘s gone up and it’s very expensive so it’s nice to treat yourself and when you pay extra for toppings, you don’t wanna be slighted and this summit shop does not slight you in the least.

Parking: Lots of spot in back lot and there's a backdoor to get in

“PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. So, to me, the cost is well worth the hassle from making the base at home.We've found our new acai bowl spot in Livingston. Thank you for being here Rush Bowls =)“

Food felt clean and tasted pretty good. Had the bulk up platter with sweet potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly! The eggs were a bit watery at the bottom of the plate which made the potatoes soggy ? otherwise it was good!

The staff was nice and the restaurant was very clean. Will definitely have to come back for more, as the menu had a lot of options, so I'd like to try something else and adjust my rating after!

Had the strawberry shortcake French toast with eggs and turkey bacon. Was definitely filling, but I feel like there was a bit too much creme in the French toast and it felt like I was eating more creme then toast. But otherwise it was good and tasted sweet. “Love it here. They give students a discount if you present your id. The food is always to die for and makes me feel healthy. Always fresh. I get and recommend the mowie wowie salmon bowl in a size regular / small. I always end up with leftovers unless I’m starved. Do NOT underestimate how much food they give you in a regular bowl. Everyone I’ve invited over always think they want a biggie bowl because their appetite is big and not one has EVER finished even half of their bowl. The original bowl has plently enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Id argue that the biggie bowl is almost share size. They give good portions for the price and the quality of the ingredients is better than any other poke bowl place I’ve tried. I hope this pit stop NEVER closes. It’s nice and clean on the inside too, never smells fishy or bad and they are nice if you treat them nice. The customers are shitty though so don’t go inside giving them attitude!!! They hired amazing staff so treat them with respect!! You don’t know who they had to serve before you showed up!! The tuna bowl is also good, it’s just a variant of the mowie wowie bowl. I haven’t ventured the menu but I’ll update when I do.

“This place is awesome. Super delicious food from salads to sandwiches. All seems to be on the healthy light side and I wanted all of it. I had a special Pastrami grilled cheese. It had thick cut fresh pastrami with cheddar cheese and coleslaw topped on TEXAS TOAST!! it was super professional and came with a side of fresh cut sweet potato fries and the carrot soup !! Let me tell you about the carrot soup , it is a must try. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I never had carrot soup so I figured I give it a go and I’m happy I did. It’s upstairs in the mall in Bloomingdale’s and it actually had a nice little view for being in a mall. Looks like they have a juice bar too. Highly recommend.“
