“so we had just drove 24 hours to get to town for vacation. we had been dreaming about Italian subs, pizza, and cheese steaks. we were absolutely exhausted. so we seen boomers on our way in so decided to place a delivery order. we have never been there before. we were terribly disappointed with all the food ordered. we spent over 100 dollars on dinner to get food that was terrible. there was no mayo or oil on the Italian subs and there was hardly any meat. It was like eating a salad on a sub. cheese steaks and pizza were just as bad. we were so sad! We would have taken food back but were so tired from driving 24 plus hours. I wish I could have given a great review but had to be honest! Then the owner got upset because we were honest and was calling us liars. Well sir, I am sure you do think your food is great and maybe any other time it is but it was not that night and I do NOT lie!!!!! You sir could have been much nicer responding to our review by saying your sorry we had a bad experience and try to make it right like any other owner would do. But you decided to be rude instead!“

“We dined on Friday, 10.31.25 supporting the Cape May Restaurant Weekend. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“Hi I want to sing my praises to two of your waitresses that went above and beyond during our meals while vacationing in Wild Woods. Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Furthermore,Noticing the whole atmosphere was a fantastic vibe, Everyone was smiling and working as a team. Can’t wait to return !“

“If I could, I would give Hawk Haven and Vinny 100 stars! What a fun experience for anyone looking to relax and have a great wine tasting experience. I went with a group of ladies for a bachelorette weekend. Vinny did our wine tasting and was nothing short of the man of the hour! He not only brought the wine, but the energy and personality as well. We cannot speak highly enough about our time with Hawk Haven. Can't wait to visit again!“

Wow. The selection is so diverse and every offering is unique. What a maturing and refining of flavors. Route 9 has had such an increase in locations, but Gusto is well worth extending the pub crawl further south. Skip Cape May Brewing Company and head here. Schwarzbier and I Think I'm a Clone Now Sour were standouts.

Original Review:
We had a great time sampling each of the offerings in small pours. While half of the offerings are IPA-ish, each one is unique enough not to get bored. Aside from those are a great sour, a not-heavy-on-the-stomach oatmeal stout, and a unique pilsner that ends with a hoppy touch. Personally, the flavor was a bit light but that does not take away from good flavors all-around.
Their patio seating is completely out of the sun and we had a great breeze on a fairly hot day.
Defintely stop by here and not just CMBC. There is enough good beer to go around. I look forward to seeing them develop!

“This was a find for us. We went for breakfast. Clean corner Cafe with excellent service. Our server was cheerful and answered my question about having gluten free pancakes. They made them! I ordered the GF blueberry pancakes. They were large and fluffy with fresh warm blueberries inside and so tasty! My husband had three egg pepperoni and mozzarella omelet,grits and rye bread. This was a special for $11.99. Everything was delicious. We will be back.“

“I chose this restaurant for my husband’s birthday dinner. We had an amazing meal in a pretty setting. Aside from being extremely impressed with all of the flavors, from appetizer to dessert, our server, Ari (not sure I’m spelling it correctly) was just the sweetest, knowledgeable and kind young woman. She was very attentive but not annoyingly. There were other servers walking around making sure tables were cleared of finished apps, salads and such. They work as a team and made the experience so enjoyable. Everything flowed so smoothly. We enjoyed delicious cocktails and the food was so on point. We’re giving Santorini ALL the stars! Off all the breweriesin the area, I thinkthe ambiance is my favorite, being it is located in an old barn that is now part of Cold Spring Village. Overalla nice stop if you are doing the brewery thing while down in the area.“

I came here specifically for The Crab Au Gratin, something I rarely see on menus these days. I highly recommend pairing it with pasta in a butter garlic sauce. My husband said the fish and chips were excellent and we just came back from the UK. They had a nice kids menu and my son enjoyed the fried shrimp. The pricing was reasonable for a shore town. It's located between stone harbor and cape may. We'll return again!“
