“My beautiful lady and I were there today this is one of my favorite staples in Rockaway. We went for the Breast cancer fundraiser today, and it was an absolute perfect turnout for a wonderful cause of someone in need. I absolutely love the staff there. Today we were greeted by Lisa and Rob. They served us right away and with a smile. Lisa is top notch, and Rob too. Later Ashley came in the evening shift, she’s great also and top notch as well. Bridget and George are awesome, perfect owners who treat their customers like family. Food is fantastic, and service as well. You make alot of great friends there, as alot of wonderful people go in and out of there. Very friendly atmosphere. Great place to watch all kinds of sports, phenomenal specials, and a fantastic patio area with a tv where you can relax and enjoy yourself. We had such a fantastic day. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Mill Lane Tavern. You will not regret it! 😀👍“

“Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.

“This is literally the divvy-est bar in all of NJ. Possibly America.I was shocked to find soap in the bathroom tbh. But it was amazing. This place is where dreams are made. This is what Karl Marx and other less aggressive socialists wrote about. This is a place where we can all come together despite your socioeconomics, education, or any other dividing factors and just be. Amazing. “Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social! “We went last night to celebrate NYE at Rosie's... the food was delicious, however we did not get our dinner until 10:45. We arrived at 8:30. In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

“Forgot how nice of a venue Rails is...it is really beautiful! Came here to celebrate 30+ years married and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Had oyster (east and west coast) appetizer and octopus with delicious garbanzo beans in a really tasty sauce!! Then had a NY strip and skirt steak... both cooked perfectly for medium rare. Had a side of creamed spinach which could've been cooked a little more...and very creamy. Next time I think I will get oil and garlic spinach instead..just a preference. Shout out to our waitress, Danielle,...very attentive and gave us a piece of cake on the house to take home and celebrate our anniversary...Also invited us to the speakeasy...but c'mon it's only MONDAY??? Saw.some people enjoying mac and cheese as an appetizer...looked good, but that would have been too much for us!! No starches ordered, but they looked good.“

“Has been a favorite of mine for many years. I like the quiet atmosphere to go in and have lunch, and read. Kept it simple today, a Cesar salad, and loaded Potato soup. The salad was crisp, and fresh, with a very generous portion. The soup tasty, and flavorful. Plus they serve Harp Lager, a favorite of mine from Guinness brewers. This is a place I continue to visit over the years. I'm never disappointed. I continue to go here often to just "chill" and read my book. It's always my place to have a quiet moment.

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“
