“Mama Rao’s kitchen has been catering all of our main home events last few years and we get nothing but raves from all of our family and friends over the food. They just did our Easter for twenty eight people, everyone loved the ham and eggplant rollitini and I am a big fan of their meatballs and sausage in their homemade gravy. “Love this place. It’s a regular stop on my 2.5 hour commute back and forth to NYC each week. The atmosphere is bright and lively, without being too loud. A couple staff members I’ve encountered are a bit surly, but for the most part they are lovely. The food sometimes takes a while to be prepared, but it is so fresh and always hot, that it’s worth a few minutes’ wait. I haven’t loved every flavor of custard I’ve tried – I always get the flavor of the week – but I’d say at least 95% of the time, everything is fantastic! Highly recommend this place.“
