“I would like to start the review with saying that our server Tony/Antonio was THE BEST. He is a gentleman and a scholar and amazing person and is great at what he does. I went to with my fiancé, sister and brother-in-law to Montville Diner before going pumpkin picking on a Sunday. The food was great! We'll all had breakfast, my sister and I both ordered the western omelet and added cheese (American and Mozzarella), bro-in-law had eggs benedict and my fiancé had a plain scrambled and home fries. Cozy Diner with normal diner pricing, solid food, and even better service. Will be coming back and would highly recommend to check out.“

“Our second visit for breakfast here. Bring your appetite! Menu book is extensive and the portions are generous. Typical hearty good diner food. The cakes and cookies are massive!!! You are guaranteed to leave 5 lbs heavier. Attentive and swift service by our server.“

“We always have excellent food here. Breakfast specials… Eggs, toast, home fries, sausage, juice and coffee! They are very generous here! Service is friendly and accurate! Totally recommend the East Hanover Diner! And reasonable!“

“My copilot and I were in the area for some training and decided to stop here on a whim one night. We are so happy that we did! What we found was an absolute gem of a diner! The menu is vast, breakfast served all day, good prices, and really amazing staff (Julia is astonishing!) We ended up eating at least one meal here, with few exceptions, every day while we were in town (2 1/2 weeks!) We trained almost everything on the menu at least once and can say that the Chicken Marsala, pancakes, and pot roast were my favorite. Also, be sure to save room for dessert because the cheesecake is easily in my top three ever! Don't hesitate to stop here anytime! You won't regret it!“

“Just about the nicest what I assume to be mother and daughter combo workin the counter. The food also was cooked perfectly. The kitchen actually listened to well done crispy Taylor ham instructions. Will be back again when I’m in the area.“
