“Wow! I am so impressed and want to say thank you. Seriously this place is an absolute must!! Not only was our server kind and fantastic, the food was phenomenal and memorable!Care and grace are so clearly defined through this space. It is a rare gem in today's world of just having food on a plate, it really felt like a meal from a family table.Thank you so much for taking care of my family, and we will be definitely adding this into our future NYC trips!Also everything was so clean, lots of parking and REALLY the world's best coffee! “Super friendly servers. Went alone and was offered a seat at large hightop with another group, because it had an outlet for my laptop. The other folks were nice and left me to my work. Mushroom goatcheese omelet was awesome, as was the toasted rye bread...I think they bake all their own bread. Will definitely go back if I'm in that neck of the woods again.Kid-friendliness: There were at least two toddlers sitting with their moms who did well.“

“Wanted to try a different diner in the area. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was awesome the staff is very nice. My 3 teenage girls are very picky and they enjoyed all their choices. I asked my daughters would they consider going back and they all emphatically said yes !!! My daughters really liked the Easter decorations!!! I highly recommend !!!“

“Great local diner in Lake Hopatcong. Breakfast is typical diner breakfast fair and doesn’t disappoint. We finally made it to their weekly Thursday night dinner menu and weren’t disappointed. The pork chops Murphy are phenomenal. If you’re in the area on a Thursday don’t miss stopping in for dinner.“

“HIDDEN GEM. We were a party of 4 and came from 45 minutes away. The place is a bit smaller, but that didn’t take away from the amazing experience we all had. The waiter, who has worked there for over 17 years, was exceptional. He was friendly and funny and we all had an excellent time with him. The food was perfect. Everything we ordered came out perfect. It was all hot and it was all very delicious. I would highly recommend the pancakes. We will for sure be back again and again.“

“The food was also really good but oh my god wait until you try the coffee!! I got an iced espresso without sugar or milk and it was so good! I’ve had many of their other drinks and smoothies as well! They just knock it out of the park with their food, their smoothies, their juices, and the coffee.“

“The Waverly is the definition of no frills. Menu on the wall, servers also cook, and booths as hard as church pews. However the food is good and it comes quickly. And for heavens don’t say a Taylor Roll is like Canadian bacon, not if you want to get out of New Jersey alive. Now my regular breakfast stop in Madison NJ“

“We had late lunch here on a weekday. I ordered Plaza Cafe Cheese Burger and Wifey ordered Chopped Sirloin Steak with baked potato and onion rings. They're delicious. We're served by the friendly owner and chef and his daughter. The place is like a diner in the seventies, very clean and well lighted. Hoping to come back again and try other items in their menu.“

“This, Diner has been here for more than 20 years. It was our first visit. We were greeted with a bright cherry hello! Our server was friendly and efficient. The prices are amazing! Everything is so expensive after the pandemic but at The Ridgedale Diner the prices were great! The place is clean! I had a cheeseburger deluxe, and it was good. Not great but okay. The french fries were the skinny kind. Not my favorite. The pickles were excellent! And we liked the coleslaw. My husband had a waffle, and he liked it very much! We're coming back to try more things!“

They messed up an order once (forgot to include salad dressing) and they offered me a complimentary salad for the next time I ordered it! “Nice staff, friendly waiter, and enjoyable food. We had some soups to start, then some breakfast items, and added some sides like bacon, etc. Everything was good. Prices were more reasonable than some other diners we have been to so we would happily go back another time we are in the area.“

“This was a very nice and modern diner we stopped on our way back home from Mountain Creek. Food was great and came out quickly. Hawaiian shrimp tacos were very tasty. Server was very nice and polite. Bathrooms were clean and everything was perfect. They also had a fair number of veggie and fish options. Would come back again.“

“We were traveling and just stopped by to eat sth. with my family. The place had a great atmosphere, cozy friendly and comfy. With an "old school diner" vibe. We had a cheeseburger DX, protein omelette and chicken gyro wt FF, coffee and soda. The whole check for three people was around $52. And the waitress Melinda was great! She even told us how much time driving is left to our destination point. If we're gonna be in the area we'll definitely come back?“

“A standard NJ diner experience! We enjoyed our abundant, tasty salads. The waitress was very accommodating; she helped us change to a more comfortable table. They also offer quality rye bread that we can't get in Massachusetts as well as gigantic and yummy linzer tarts!Parking: Conveniently located off of route 10.“

“This diner is definitely a favorite stopping place when we are back in our home state! The lobster bisque is not to be missed but only available on the weekend. They had a beef and barley soup, reminded me of home.The server was very friendly. Staff was joyful. ❣️“

“My friend scheduled a "let's reconnect" meet up and he picked Paul's. I hadn't been there for years since we moved out of my Lakes. I remember they had Good good with excellent service but I have driven by hundreds of times and never stopped. Too bad because my Greek salad with chicken was a huge feast. The greens were fresh and crispy, the dressing (served on the side so you can add as much as you want) and the grilled chicken was done to perfection! My friend ate a vegi omelette and pronounced it very good. Overall, this was a great, classic diner experience. I awarded 4 stars since I don't do a 6 star "rave" on one visit but I'll come back and update after a dinner visit Lots of parking. Spotless and neat booth seating for us. A top of the profession very attentive waiter. BTW, I did the Yelp Elite thing, tipped on the card and then personally added a cash tip to the waiter with a compliment to the manager. Recommended for your next dinner meal. It will be mine.“

“This was my first visit to Montville Diner. It was a Sunday at 10:30am. I was seated where I ordered a House Club sandwich with Corned Beef and Pastrami along with fries. I instantly regretted my decision only because of my diet. I enjoyed my meal while listening to Lionel Ritchie and watching Quick Draw lottery numbers. Not all the ingredients are listed on the menu but this hot concoction was awesome. Fries were fluffy which I prefer. Every single staff member was smiling and sometimes laughing which is great for the dining experience.“

“Morristown diner brought a delicious meal to me and my daughter. The eggs and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and very delicious. Corn beef hash out of this world and the fried zucchini with. Tomato sauce was outstanding I want more fried zucchini! Our server was quick and attentive. He had a great memory didn't even have to write anything down. I highly recommend this restaurant if I lived local I would order for pick up breakfast luncheon dinner.“

“Nothing is worse than a breakfast sandy that's 80% bread and 20% BEC. Well, FPD did NOT disappoint. After a night out, all I wanted the next morning to revive my soul was a turkey sausage EC sandy. I didn't know where to go, so I tried FPD for a change and their sandy was PACKED with sausage, egg & cheese and the flavor was good too. Cured my hangover. 10/10“

“Came for breakfast this morning. Great local diner! They are family (kid) friendly! Service is great and very quick. Very typical diner food. I ordered the French toast, it was good, not extra thick French toast but it was good. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries, it was good, huge portion! We will definitely be back!“
