“My beautiful lady and I were there today this is one of my favorite staples in Rockaway. We went for the Breast cancer fundraiser today, and it was an absolute perfect turnout for a wonderful cause of someone in need. I absolutely love the staff there. Today we were greeted by Lisa and Rob. They served us right away and with a smile. Lisa is top notch, and Rob too. Later Ashley came in the evening shift, she’s great also and top notch as well. Bridget and George are awesome, perfect owners who treat their customers like family. Food is fantastic, and service as well. You make alot of great friends there, as alot of wonderful people go in and out of there. Very friendly atmosphere. Great place to watch all kinds of sports, phenomenal specials, and a fantastic patio area with a tv where you can relax and enjoy yourself. We had such a fantastic day. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Mill Lane Tavern. You will not regret it! 😀👍“

“We had a wonderful event today at The Exchange"s banquet facilities. Food was fantastic!! Only thing better then the food was the hostesses. Very attentive, and very helpful. They made the function run tha much smoother amd made my day that much easier. But did I mention the food...my guests have not stopped reaching out to me saying how muched they loved the food. “Has been a favorite of mine for many years. I like the quiet atmosphere to go in and have lunch, and read. Kept it simple today, a Cesar salad, and loaded Potato soup. The salad was crisp, and fresh, with a very generous portion. The soup tasty, and flavorful. Plus they serve Harp Lager, a favorite of mine from Guinness brewers. This is a place I continue to visit over the years. I'm never disappointed. I continue to go here often to just "chill" and read my book. It's always my place to have a quiet moment.

“It's a lovely place. I thought this place was getting sold last year but apparently it's not. Would love to make this my mainstay. Before I moved to this area, I lived in the Boonton area,and Johnnie's Tavern was my go to. This place is the only one that could hope to measure up to that level of atmosphere. If this place gets sold or disappears, this whole area is not going to have a locals bar. And that sucks. So it should probably not happen“

“My husband and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat that had an outdoor area( so glad we did) Once there ,we reviewed the menu , I explained to our waiter Cody that I am a pescatarian. He immediately recommended a few dishes that were not on the menu. I decided to go with one of his recommendation, the blackened shrimp tacos. They were delicious!! My husband had the blackened California wrap, which he raved about. Our waiter Cody even took the time to give us a bit of

“Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social!
