“We just moved to Sussex County at the same time our dog had surgery so we have been ordering in a lot to care for him. We got sick of pizza and chinese so we checked Door Dash and saw Irish Cottage Inn and decided to give it a go. All I can say is holy cow. I literally just wrapped up what I had leftover and couldn't NOT leave a review. My boyfriend got the Corned Beef Reuben and I swear I have never tried a tastier or more tender corned beef. This place is the real deal. The french onion soup was phenomenal and the fries OMG!! We will be ordering here many times I am sure!“

“First time here for New Years day with family, and first and foremost, the location is great! Practically overlooking the lake. The woodwork inside is really nice and has a lively yet cozy atmosphere. The food was good too! Their Nachos were some of the best I have ever had. All of us were pleased with our food. Our server was great. We did order appetizers and lunch, and it all came out together it took about 30+ minutes, which was surprising since we ordered immediately and the crowd died down once we arrived. I'm not sure what the issue was. I do still recommend this restaurant and they do suggest reservations which we did.“
“Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. “Very good place to visit! They were very busy so to get attention you might want to sit at the bar. It’s pretty loud but overall everything was great. The menu had delicious sounding food options, I got The Bourbon Burger. It was so good. My bf and I both got drinks they were delicious. I forgot to ask for a side of fries but the burger came with a bag of chips! I forgot to add them in the picture.“
