“My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.“

Packed on my visit over the holidays which had at least one group waiting for a table.
A large staff of young folks hustle out the orders and wait tables. Very attentive too as we were asked a few times how everything was and if we needed anything. We had only stopped for pizza and not even in the main dining room so +2 for effort.

Service: Obviously making pizza takes time, but ordering the medium doesn't take too long, and the same is true with the large.

Atmosphere: I took off one star for potential glare depending on where you sit, but I like everything else inside the restaurant.“

The customer service is impeccable. I’m not from New Jersey, but every time I walk in, they treat me like family. They also have a great lunch special—two slices of any kind. “I had my husband 60th birthday party in the Banquet Room. Giving the BIGGEST shout out Jen, Spencer and John who made it the best party ever. Walked me through every step from planning, ordering and choosing the right menu. It was the greatest party by far that we ever had. Bigger shout out to the bartender Julia and hostess Gabby. “Make no mistake, this is 5-star pizza. Get a few “personal” pizzas for variety: a cheese, a white, and maybe a mushroom or pepperoni - well done. Absolutely the best in Somerset area. If you stop there for lunch, their slices are quite big, you only need 1. And the chicken fingers are a MUST. We just love Amici’s. I recommend calling them directly and pick up, or ask for delivery. The owners are just great people. ?“
