“Great sushi, always made fresh; however, the waiters rush you to get out of the restaurant from the moment you sit down (even when the restaurant is not busy). I felt as if I was being watched as I ate my meal and the second I took my last bite, the waiters quickly rushed over to clear my table as I was still chewing. This has happened every time I have been to this restaurant & it is very invasive. I understand that they have a 100 minute limit, but every time I have been, I’ve barely spent an hour there. I went for a nice sit down meal, not “fast” food.“

“Our party of 13 celebrated a birthday at Arirang today. Chef Teshima was incredibly professional, and the food he prepared exceeded all our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed both the delicious food and the lively atmosphere. Tammy, our waitress, provided exceptional service. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend Arirang!“

“Food is delicious, greeting from the host station was non existent, server, Brian, was attentive and delivered hot food quickly. The pork chashu in the Tonkatsu ramen was not good (tough, off-putting flavor) despite having some of the best broth I've had.Vegetable gyoza were fantastic!Recommended.“

“Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. The staff very welcoming, helpful, and professional. This is farm to table restaurant The food was high quality, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. The grilled whole Bronzino and the pork skewers really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked show a real pride in their food and service. The owner definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better. We will definitely be back again soon.“

“I’ve been coming here since moving to area 3 years ago & always loved their food.Last night after taking a large takeaway order, the bottom of bag gave way & all the food fell out. Within 10 minutes I received a new order. Please go & support this small business. They were so sweet during the whole situation I’m making sure I’m going back again for another delicious meal.“

“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I live near by & finally went to Asahi Sushi Ramen! The service was wonderful, they were quick and answered any questions we had. The food was a 10/10 it looked & tasted delicious. It’s DEFINITELY worth stopping by. They have prices you can’t beat! The chicken teriyaki came out HOT (also came with a side salad & side of rice) and the presentation was great, the chicken ramen came in a large bowl and I had leftovers to take home! :)“

“Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty. The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

“Outside of Tokyo and NYC, this is the best Omakase we have found in NJ. Flavors were amazing ( although not super authentic or traditional) everything was unbelievably high quality and super fresh. The blends of flavors were outstanding. A bit pricey ($150 for 18 pcs) but will definitely be adding it to our must go to places in “

“Unbelievable sushi in Lincoln Park at surprisingly affordable prices for the quality of sushi they deliver. Have been here 4 times and have never been disappointed with any of the rolls we’ve ordered. Fresh and delicious always. Must try if you want top notch sushi in Northern NJ.“

“We ordered the mizu, kiss of summer, Naruto, jade, and Verona and they were all so fresh and delicious. Lots of fish and lots of flavor. I do think the mango could be more ripe though. Tap water also wasn't my favorite but don't let that prevent you from getting this great sushi. Although we couldn't have any of the sauces that came with the rolls since they had gluten, they did have GF soy sauce which was great. The server didn't have much personality and we did have to reconfirm what sauces had gluten and which didn't and had to ask for a second GF soy sauce as well even though in the beginning we did say there are two of us. Pretty empty at 5pm on a Sunday and plenty of free parking (on Sundays) around the corner.“

“The food always tastes good. The people who work here are so sweet and kind. I lost my card and they took their time to call me and make sure they were giving the card to the right person. They were too kind. I tried to give a tip for helping me out alot and she refused. The service is great and I reccomend anyone to come here. Thank you to the workers in Ariyoshi for being so truthful and kind! I'll continue to rave and promote this business.“

“First time here ordered hibachi rice and noodles plus vegetable potstickers very yummy. Not sure about all the reviews about bad customer service because my experience was great.Vegetarian options: They have a few but they definitely need more and to make their teriyaki sauce vegan currently it has a chicken base in it.“

“One of the best places to get good sushi. They have a great selection and good drinks too. I always enjoy myself here. Just be careful walking from the parking lot to the restaurant in the dark. It’s not well lit and there isn’t a side walk. Cars pulling in or out won’t be able to see you.“

“Came to check out this place with my co-worker one day and ordered a variety of different rolls and sashimi. The one that I enjoyed the most was the Yummy Maki roll. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Other than that I had a pleasant experience coming here and wouldn't mind coming again. The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and you could get a good view of the sushi bar depending on where you sit.“

“Had Dynamite avocado spicy tuna roll ten piece..was a beautiful presentation and a delicious complex tastes with the avocado which added creamy texture , had the spiciness of the sauce, the tuna, and the sweet crunch of the apple was bursting with layers of flavor. The miss soup was exceptionally good. Would definitely recommend this little gem for any sushi lover. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in flavor. Pricing is reasonable.“

“This was a great find! I found this place on yelp, and I'm really glad I went! I had the tonkatsu ramen with a side of kimchi, and a passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly. The tea, ramen, and kimchi were really good! It wasn't super salty, like other ramen places. This food tastes homemade and unique. The service was good, the waitress was attentive and my food came out really quickly. I went during lunch and it wasn't super busy. I would definitely come back!“

“I took my very good friend Gary to Kyoto’s to celebrate his birthday. We both had the Sushi Deluxe which was exquisite! Nancy was our server. Her service was excellent. The owner came over to wish Gary a happy birthday and they even made us fried Oreo’s for a delicious birthday desert. It was a wonderful time. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going to Kyoto’s.“

“Absolutely amazing of a place! First time going here, it is small but however, the place is adorable. Walked right in, greeted by friendly staff members. Sat right down and ordered. The wait time was reasonable, it did take someTime for a small meal but it was still definitely worth the wait of it. The food was absolutely delicious, the flavoring to it with the spices made it really splendid. The service like said before was fabulous, staff were very friendly and felt very heart warming that they are here to take care of you while you’re enjoying your food.Atmosphere was good! “Tokyo Hibachi in Springfield, NJ, is a really cool place. It’s got a mix of old Japanese style and modern vibes, making it a great spot for any kind of dinner. What’s really great about Tokyo Hibachi is how they stick to kosher food but still make it taste super delicious and authentic, just like traditional Japanese meals. Everything they serve is made with top-notch ingredients, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into making their food both look and taste amazing. The people working at Tokyo Hibachi are super nice and really good at their jobs. They make sure everyone is happy and gets what they need, especially when it comes to special food requirements.Tokyo Hibachi isn’t just a regular restaurant; it’s a place where they really care about keeping kosher while serving fantastic Japanese food. It’s a must-visit spot in Springfield, whether you live there or are just passing through.“

“It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“
“My daughter ordered from Millburn Poke Bowl today for delivery. The food arrived quickly. I had the sushi burrito....what great value for the money. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. I would highly recommend Millburn Poke Bowl if you want delicious, fresh ingredients and a very generous amount of them.“

The specialty sushi rolls are very well thought out combinations of fish, shrimp, and vegetables. The bar is full service with Japanese and American beer on tap.The bar area of the restaurant is separated from the restaurant table area.I look forward to returning and trying more of the sushi rolls. ?Parking: The Sushi Lounge is located in a strip mall on RT 46 West.“

“Food and service is excellent! May the hostess is always pleasant and extremely friendly! The food is extremely good and very reasonable for what you're getting. Sushi is always fresh and they offer great combinations of rolls for you to choose from. So far I've had their shrimp tempura, spider Boston and California rolls, Nabeyaki soup, gyoza and of course the seaweed salad. The place is on the end of a very tiny strip mall so be on the lookout and wait for May to greet you! “Don't let the outside fool you! The food here is TOP notch. The interior really took us by surprise, as it looks lively and new. My girlfriend and I ordered the spicy cucumber salad, hamachi, and million dollar roll. The spicy cucumber salad was fresh and a great way to start. The hamachi was really good, the fish was fresh and the skin was nice and crispy. The million dollar roll was really good. You can definitely tell quality ingredients were being used. Our service was prompt and the waitress was very kind. Having lived in parsippany for 3 years and this being our first time here, I wish I would've noticed this spot a bit sooner. We will definitely be back!“

“This has been our go to sushi spot- dine in or take out- for years. The fish is super fresh, the service is wonderful and they’re very accommodating. I often change the tuna lover roll to a salmon lover roll, which I think should be on the menu permanently! The tuna don and salmon don is the best deal around- and their salmon is like butter.I’ve tried a few few of their Thai and Chinese dishes and they were fine, but if I want that food I’ll go someplace else.“

“They were able to make my dish gluten free!!! And it was great!! They charred my chicken and broccoli with some chili flakes and it was yummy. Their lunch special was only $10-11 too which is pretty nice considering it came with a miso soup and it was a nice portion. And it was done fast too. I will be back :)“
“Fresh tasting fish and not overly cold. The specialty rolls were great as well. Kids loved everything and even fought over the last salmon sashimi. The portions are reasonable. We got in around 5:15 and it was empty at least on the main floor; there was a party on the second floor where the hibachi is. It's quiet on a Thursday night.“

“First at buffet soon they opened. Place was super clean..food was hot and steamy. Everything was fresh. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken, oxtails, cheesecake, vermicelli abalone, beef short ribs, pork belly, and the salad bar. Kiwi and pineapples were super sweet and juicy.. strawberries and cantaloupe not so much. All in all everything was yummy EXCEPT the lobster... didn't like the mushy texture at ALL...worth the money. I spent 2 1/2 hours there and enjoyed my food. 9/10“
