“I have been to many hot pot places and this is the very best I have ever been to. It’s one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is always super fresh and delicious, the staff is super amazing, and the ambience is spot on for a fun and relaxing dining experience. To top it all off, I have food sensitivities (gluten free, in particular), but I have never had any issues here. I always get the mushroom soup base. It is soooooo flavorful. I don’t live close, but always try to find excuses to go to American Dream Mall just to dine here!”

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. While the food came out promptly and the tables are clean, I had to wait a while for a staff member who could not be found across the entire front counter to take my order, despite no line present. This has happened previously on multiple occasions.

Additionally, it appears that management does not want to address this issue, but in fact encourages this behavior. they recently added a sign that directs everyone to the kiosk instead of interacting with a staff member.

Signs like this tell the customer they are not valued and staff prefer to hide in the back office instead of serving the customer. In fact, I’ve witnessed a couple of customers laugh out loud as they read the sign.

What happens with the self ordering kiosk breaks? some customers prefer a traditional ordering experience instead of interacting with a kiosk.”

My kids absolutely love them and always beg to stop here during our mall visits. “I was excited to see that It’s WAAO! opened a location at American Dream. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken patacón combo with a banana shake, and both were delicious. The patacón took a little while to prepare so they gave me a free side of fries (unless that was already part of the combo lol either way, I appreciated it)!

The seating area is nice and a great place to enjoy your meal. The employees kept checking in to make sure everything was good and to see if I needed anything like napkins. My only complaint was that there was some loud construction happening at the ice rink, but that’s totally out of their control. Overall, great service and great food. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Went there this afternoon for lunch with my parents and their very close friends, and it was such a wonderful experience from the moment they opened. ✨ We were warmly greeted by a lovely woman at the front and by the owner, Dominick, which immediately made us feel welcome. 😊

Our waiter, Victor, was attentive, welcoming, and truly superb. 👏 The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parm with rigatoni cooked perfectly al dente, and it was phenomenal. 🍝🍗 The tomato sauce was so flavorful and tasted completely homemade — rich, chunky, and full of fresh flavor. 🍅 Paired with a nice bottle of red wine 🍷, it made the afternoon even more special.

“The drinks here are great and the staff are always friendly! My favorite is the earl grey milk tea with tapioca and herbal jelly. If you’re unsure what to order the staff has great recommendations! My favorite boba shop at the mall”

“Tried three drinks here and overall it was a really solid experience. The milk teas were smooth and creamy. The boba had a nice chewy texture so it felt fresh.
The yogurt tea in the middle was refreshing and light, perfect if you don’t want something too heavy. You can taste the yogurt instead of just sugar, which is a big plus.
Packaging was cute and clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Portion size felt fair for the price. Overall, a great spot to hang out with friends and try different flavors. Would definitely come back to explore more options.”

“I got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte and it was really good!! I’ve never had macha before so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it made a great first impression! The lady in front of me was deaf and having a very hard time ordering but the two ladies working handled it very well! I definitely want to come back and try their coffee and probably a dessert!”
