“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. “I couldn't resist getting a slice of the green tea mille cake, even thought I already had ice cream from Cafe Zaiya. (I really have no self control over sweets, and my bf doesn't ever stop me). As other reviewers had already stated, Lady M is typically full of Asian girls and tourists, which was true as per my visit today. Their pretty cakes and pastries are very photogenic and Instagram/Facebook worthy.The cashier was very nice and thorough. Told me that he was putting my copy of the receipt in the bag, while getting a tray for me to sign the merchant's copy of the receipt. He gave me 2 utensils without me asking.It's been a while since I tasted the crepe cake. I guess it was a let down as I remember it tasting more amazing. Each layer of the crepe was positioned perfectly so that it wasn't uneven. There was a lot more cream then i remembered. It was hard cutting into the cake with the fork for each bite and it was much easier to just eat it layer by layer. The matcha powder was bitter, but the cream was sweet, so that was a good combo.”

While the food came out promptly and the tables are clean, I had to wait a while for a staff member who could not be found across the entire front counter to take my order, despite no line present. This has happened previously on multiple occasions.

Additionally, it appears that management does not want to address this issue, but in fact encourages this behavior. they recently added a sign that directs everyone to the kiosk instead of interacting with a staff member.

Signs like this tell the customer they are not valued and staff prefer to hide in the back office instead of serving the customer. In fact, I’ve witnessed a couple of customers laugh out loud as they read the sign.

What happens with the self ordering kiosk breaks? some customers prefer a traditional ordering experience instead of interacting with a kiosk.”

I had the chicken parm with rigatoni cooked perfectly al dente, and it was phenomenal. 🍝🍗 The tomato sauce was so flavorful and tasted completely homemade — rich, chunky, and full of fresh flavor. 🍅 Paired with a nice bottle of red wine 🍷, it made the afternoon even more special.

“Tried three drinks here and overall it was a really solid experience. The milk teas were smooth and creamy. The boba had a nice chewy texture so it felt fresh.
The yogurt tea in the middle was refreshing and light, perfect if you don’t want something too heavy. You can taste the yogurt instead of just sugar, which is a big plus.
Packaging was cute and clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Portion size felt fair for the price. Overall, a great spot to hang out with friends and try different flavors. Would definitely come back to explore more options.”

We tried Spicy dry pot style which is wok stir fry style.. we scooped different kinds of vegetables.. shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, different types of mushrooms, lotus roots, sprouts, potato slices choose to be made EXTRA spicy..

We got a side of rice perfect for the stir fry.. if looking for something non spicy get tiny spice level.. we didn’t try any meats here this time.. we will be back next time around to try next spice level..”

“I got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte and it was really good!! I’ve never had macha before so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it made a great first impression! The lady in front of me was deaf and having a very hard time ordering but the two ladies working handled it very well! I definitely want to come back and try their coffee and probably a dessert!”
