“I am gushing over the meal we had here. From amazing craft cocktails to an unforgettable dinner. Raphael, Julia, and Louis spoiled us. The cocktails were in fun glasses and were light and flavorful. The service was impeccable. We let them order for us. Octopus starter, then onto hanger steak, roasted chicken, sea bass, and the pork stew. All incredible with deep rich flavors. We had some great sides, a light salad to finish, and a lovely passion fruit desert. I can't say enough about this place.“

“I’ve eaten here two times. The ladies behind the bar are extremely friendly and attentive. The meals are tasty with generous portions. I’m not a huge fan of French fries, but these are so good and taste homemade! The salad was delicious and the garlic pork chops were excellent. My friend had grilled salmon and enjoyed it. The prices are affordable and they even have a $4 glass of house wine that they fill to the rim; you can’t beat it! My only complaint is that it is extremely warm in there. Other than that, I highly recommend.“

“I came here with my family and some friends before an Elton John concert and we had a fabulous time. My brother and I absolutely feasted on the delicious empanadas. I ordered the grilled skirt steak and it was delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive. My crew and I had a blast there and would highly recommend if you’re in the area.“

“OMG these are unlike any other custard pastry I have ever had. It’s a full stop amazing treat. Pastry is light and flaky, not standard pie crust style. The filling is warm and creamy not solid and dense.

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“If you like Spanish Portuguese food, this will satisfy whatever you feel like steaks to chops to fish to Mariscos 🦀. I took an order of garlic pork chops which were delicious and a great value to go for dinner later! The waiter I don't know if I'm spelling it right, Solo was terrific and attentive and he had a full bar to deal with too! I will probably go there today again!

“I ordered the chicken and rib combo. The meat was super juicy and tasty!! Unlike some places that overcook the meat and wind up tasting like dried chicken jerky. This place knows how to cook!
The only thing that bothered me was it says $14 online but they charged me $16. Either they over charged me or need to update the price online and post the price inside the restaurant.“

“Came back to Tribos Peri Peri in Saddle Brook after 4 years and it’s still amazing. The food is absolutely delicious, perfectly grilled chicken with bold peri peri flavor and great portions. Big shoutout to the manager Hassan for the great hospitality and making us feel really welcome. Everything was smooth and well taken care of. Honestly, it was even better than I remembered. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.“

“I got a chocolate croissant, egg tart, cream puffs cheese bread, along with the cinnamon caramel iced coffee, and both were absolutely amazing especially the iced coffee, the flavor was perfect. The food was also really good, fresh, and satisfying. The atmosphere was also welcoming and everything tasted made with care. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!“

I did a take out for a birthday treat for a near by park area where my daughter and her friend enjoyed the meals likewise I did too.
We ordered snappers,calamari,bbq wings,buffalo wings ,garlic wings,chicken tenders/fries,yellow & white rice,.
Service was great while I waited for my meal to be prepared I had a pina calada and that was perfectly made fresh before me,delightful!

“The food here is DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is off if you’re not Portuguese. As soon as I walk in, they make me feel like I don’t belong. They all look at you and start talking to each other in their language. I’ve NEVER felt like that before going to this bar. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. And most of the waitresses don’t speak English.“

The atmosphere is intimate, but Great Vibes. (The venue has 2 levels; downstairs dining area and upstairs lounge area.)
They offer Hookah as well.
There is room for improvement however, as some of the staff in the dining area, don't speak English well, so they require assistance from other staff members when taking an order.
Wouldn't hurt if Drinks were a pinch stronger as well.
Overall, I enjoy myself everytime I visit.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“
