“My son took me to lunch here as he's familiar with it from working in the area. I got the veggie burrito, figuring it would basic. Wow, wow, wow. I have never tasted flavors like that, and it was beyond amazing! The owner and employees couldn't have been more accommodating and I can't wait to go back. Oh, and my son got the burger. Again, not your basic burger. It was so, so good. The best burger I've ever tasted in my life.“
“I really loved everything about Oaxaca by the Sea. The service was great and the food was delicious and plentiful. I'm salivating at the thought of finishing up part two tonight as we left with a huge doggie bag.Thank you for a great dining experience. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon with family and friends.“
“This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever found. Food is excellent and the service is superb. And the prices no one can beat. Rueben and the staff are top notch. Our whole family was blessed and God gave us a great experienceYou must go“
“I tried El Rey tonight. I haven't had guacamole that good since Tapatia was a luncheonette in the Tapatio Supermarket, Circa 1995, and the chips tasted like they came straight from Playa del Carmen. The steak burrito was awesome, the steak was tender and the creamy verde sauce was the perfect compliment.I will definitely be eating here often.“
“Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“
“Our family has been to this place many times and we do enjoy it. The ambience is just perfect, feels like you are on vacation. Fajita is my favorite dish, usually take mixed fajita (beef, shrimp and chicken), which is served on a sizzling hot skillet along with grilled onions and peppers. The meat and vegetables are served with warm tortillas, guacamole, beans, rice, sour cream, and salsa. Delightful.“
“I live 6 hours away and would make the drive to come here! As a gf vegan I haven’t had lots of luck with Mexican food (even Gracias Madre in San Fran.) I ordered the GF nachos, split with a friend, and WOW! I could tell just by the weight that it was a big portion. Met Eslin, an owner, who was so lovely I almost let the nachos get soggy by chatting and laughing for a while on pickup.I can honestly say these were the best nachos I’ve ever had. The fresh flavors, textures and portion were phenomenal. No sogginess, and no chip without plenty of topping for it.The online ordering is a bit tricky if you have questions about the menu, but you can always pop in to ask, then order if you are fine waiting a bit.Cute picnic bench area.“
“This place is a gem. Wonderful, fresh food that tasted homemade and was presented beautifully. We stopped in on our way out of town, just looking for a bite, and we felt so fortunate to happen upon this place. We ordered a chicken torta and a burrito, and both were excellent. The woman who served us was kind and welcoming.“
“At the spur of the moment, we decided to stop for food while we're shopping out here. This is a great little spot.I had the quesa-birria tacos and my better half went for the warm chicken salad in the taco shell. We really enjoyed it. Similar to west coast style birria, but the soupita/consomme had a bit cilantro in it (I love cilantro) and not overly salty as they tend to be. Crunchy taco shell (corn option available) melted cheese and dipping that taco in the soupita, dam!Better half loved her salad and was a little upset she couldn't eat it all (nice sized portions, though not oversized). She stole the leftover soupita for the salad (she loved it too).If this sounds good and you're nearby, then this may be a place for you to check out. Love spreading the word on good little spots.“
“This morning I went in after my workout to get a breakfast burrito and WOW was it fantastic. The hot sauce is hot and delicious! The burrito had some great spices and I loved it! I will definitely be back. Was filling as well!Cost after tax: $15.80“
“Good food. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable.Update: I live around the corner and frequently eat here. The food is always very good.I don't understand why El Rey seems empty when the restaurants next door are busy. I've eaten at both of the restaurants next door and the food was mediocre at best. Very confusing.“
“This past Saturday my boyfriend and I had a reservation to celebrate his birthday. When we got in the car to go home, he looked at me and said "This is probably one of the best birthdays I've ever had". We got to sit at the chef's table, and everyone from the hostess to the wait staff went above and beyond to make him feel special and celebrated. The food was fantastic as it always is, but the experience was truly the highlight of the night. We will never forget it and want to thank everyone at Barrio from the bottom of our hearts for making it a truly unforgettable experience. Without a doubt our favorite restaurant, and we can't wait to come back!“
“This is a family run business. Everyone is warm and friendly. Service was fast and great. They offer great specials weekly. Food is cooked in less oil than you traditional Chinese restaurants. There is a restroom for customers only which is very clean. You can find parking on the right side of the building.“
“Stumbled on kitchen Tex mex when our regular Mexican place wasn’t open yet. How fortunate for us! The food is excellent and fresh and very affordable. The chips are not salty. A variety of tasty salsas. So good we went back 3 times in a week. It will be our new regular place. In those 3 visits there were few people eating. So I hope more customers enjoy this find so they don’t go out of business!“
“Wonderful family run restaurant. The food was delicious. We started with guacamole that was so flavorful. The Columbia empanadas. Yum. For entrees ceviche which was fresh, lomo de saltado, quesadilla, and burrito so good. Highly recommend if you are in the area.“
“We decided to come here after hearing some good things. We got the chips and guac, steak chimichanga, and steak tostadas. Everything was AMAZING. Very authentic Mexican food. The chimichanga sauce was delicious and the guac sooo creamy. We will definitely be back.“
“There's 5 different restaurants in one place. amazing service 5 different kitchens so there's no cross contamination so everything is safe they have Thai food Mexican food American food vegan food and a couple other different restaurant's on hwy 35 in Ocean Twp! Incase you are wondering there's all different cook's as well!!!“
“Walked by one morning on our way to Offshore, checked out the menu, the tacos caught our attention, specifically the Baja Fish and Tulum Shrimp tacos, a couple of our favorites. Decided to come back for lunch the next day. We ordered the aforementioned tacos. Server was nice, brought our drinks fairly quickly along with some tortilla chips... but no salsa. Had to go inside and request it later. Salsa has good flavor, they have a green and red, mild to medium spice. Tacos arrived, they looked great, nice presentation... but the shrimp was seriously lacking in flavor. My wife and I have had shrimp tacos in Tulum and these weren't even close. Plus only 2 medium-sized bland shrimp in each taco. The Baja Fish taco had decent flavored sauce on it. The tortillas were not warmed or grilled or anything on either tacos.“
“What a great local restaurant. My son recommended we go, he had only ordered delivery and wanted to try dining in. Very very good. Server was friendly and attentive. The chips and salsas came out as soon as we sat and were so good. Loved the salsa verde. I had asked for no onions in my meal and the waitress thought to ask about onions in the guacamole after we added that on afterwards. It was nice that she remembered my preference. And came out with extra chips to go with it without us needing to ask. We both ordered Tacos Mexicanos. One vegetable and the other chorizo. Happy to say the vegetables were not just peppers and onions but included zucchini and broccoli. Lots of cilantro, which I love. It was so tasty. All 3 tacos are in double tortillas. Great to make an extra taco with anything that may have fallen out or just insurance it holds together. We ordered horchata as our drink which was also quite delicious. Everything was fresh, and reasonably priced on top of all of that, just fantastic. I'd definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Many items include your choice of filling so vegetables are always an option for so many things on the menu.“
“This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve been to so far.The food, decor and people are as authentic as they can possibly be.The food is always fresh, we typically go there for an evening meal, but tried their breakfast the other day and were blown away yet again.Highly recommended if you’re craving Mexican.BYOB your own liquor of choice to mix with their tea.“
“What a great find! Went based on reviews and agree with 5 star rating. Super clean, fun decor, service great and food was outstanding. Fresh, quality ingredients, generous portions. Steak tacos delish, steak with beans and rice also so good. The pico de gallo was SO fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced.“
“My wife and I were attending a comedy show across the street, and we wanted to grab a bite before the show. The ambiance is very cozy as it's a small restaurant. The service was fast and attentive. You can tell it's a mom and pop restaurant, and it was in the flavor of the food. Everything was tasty. I won't drive 90 minutes to come back, but if I'm in the area, I'll definitely come back.“
“Had dinner here last night for the first time after hearing great reviews of the place for years. We were a party of 4 couples. Tino himself kept an eye on us and made sure we were well served. Large portions, beautiful outdoor dining area, excellent service, and incredible value.“
“Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm and was a little busy but several seats open. Staff is super friendly and the interior is clean. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive at the table.Ordered the beef taco and shrimp tacos. Loved the flavor combination and the beef and shrimp were fresh. The beef and shrimp were a bit too sweet in my opinion but that's if I'm nit picking.I will say for the price per taco, there could be a bit more shrimp and beef. Comparable Mexican tacos come cheaper and with more protein filling. I think to be more competitive, they could do better in that aspect.I also ordered the hotteok with vanilla ice cream and it's phenomenal. Easily one of the best desserts I've had. Absolutely love the texture and flavor combination. The ice cream they use is also amazing. Will absolutely order this every time I come back.“
“First time ordering. Ordered online. 3 out 4 sandwiches were on point. The other one we were not happy with. There was no option to add or remove ingredients. The picture of the sandwich had lettuce tomato and onion on it and that’s what we wanted. When the food arrived that one sandwich was dry. No lettuce tomato onion or mayo. Update the online services to customize the deli sandwiches and I’ll give 5 stars. Cuban panini was on point “
“We were on a road trip and stumbled upon this mexican restaurant, people are smiling, I love the mexican flavor here, the food is fresh, they serve me fresh cactus with my steak, i like the freshness, the appetizer and crispy nacho. They have a parking at the back. I hope to come backParking: At the back of the restaurant“
“I've been a regular here for years now. For the most part, this has been the safest choice we make because the food rarely disappoints. I haven't been in since COVID, only getting delivery and pickup monthly to weekly. They're not perfect but it's always innocent stuff. This is a place I recommend to anyone moving to the area.“
“Tacoholics is awesome place to go- a must try⭐️⭐️MENU - is awesome - extremely customizable you can get anything however you want it. Tons of options. prices are very reasonable- lots of daily deals⭐️FOOD - is really good. Shrimp tacos ? General Taos sauce on the crispy chicken ?Sauces ? guacamole ?⭐️⭐️SERVICE - AMAZING service at this location. The make the orders correctly. They treat all the customers well. They do well in heavy rush situations. These guys are definitely NOT lazy. Great staff - great guys!!“
“Goodquality Mexican food. Shrimp Diablo was quite tasty! Place was relatively busy but not hectic. Food is freshly prepared. Complimentary chips and salsa are the perfect accompaniment. Service was nice. The bakery display looked delicious. Will have to swing by for some pastries.“
“This place is the best authentic Mexican place I've ever been to. They are so kind and give you such a good deal for what you get. I only paid about $17.50 for a drink and my three tacos. They also give you free home made corn chips Every time you eat in. If they don't have the self serve sauces available they will give it to you in containers. I've been here with my boyfriend so many times and it never disappoints me. The food is always high quality. The pink building and colorful environment is different but very authentic. They won't even let you clean up after yourself if the owner is there.“
“Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. Love this place I enjoy the seafood soup. But all the food here is delicious and they give you plenty of it.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a ramp not just steps which makes it easier for people in the world chair.“
“Food was good, but they did not have fish tacos in the menu. Which is strange considering that all Mex. food places have it. Service was fast but this place is a small family restaurant made out of a part of a hose on a corner somewhere in residential area. I am not sure where would ppl park if they have like a dozen ppl coming here. But service was fast and food was good“
“Small and family owned but i would be the first to invest in them ! They are always friendly and the prices are reasonable! I would highly recommend ordering their fresh tacos !Vegetarian options: fresh vegetables usedKid-friendliness: healthy ingredients“
“The staff there has always been super friendly and adheres to your requests. The food has always been superb. Fresh and hot even when ordering right before they close. Always happy to make your experience enjoyable.Parking: Plenty of parking spots. Conveniently located.“
“Shrimp in mole sauce is delicious. Just spicy enough to make it interesting. A medley of spices blended together in a thick, dark sauce. I find it addictive. Chili rellenos stuffed with cheese then battered and fried. The batter is light and completely non-greasy. I get them covered in a tangy, fresh verde sauce that I have been ordering for years. The entrees come with rice and beans. Sometimes it is juicy black beans and sometimes creamy refried pinto beans. The service is always, prompt, polite and friendly. We mainly get take out these days because hubby picks it up on his way home from work. The orders are always complete and ready when expected.“
“Galindos is one of my favorite local places in Long Branch to order food. Me and my buddy always order take out from them and get the burritos. I personally get chicken on mine, but there are a lot of options. Very large portion sizes and great quality, and the prices are great! Also recommend the horchata!“
“We were out shopping and decided to grab lunch before heading home. We had our 8 month old son with us and had asked if we could get him some chicken. The owner said absolutely and even cut it up in small pieces for us. He didn’t charge us for the chicken either which was unbelievably nice. Food was great and our little bud enjoyed his chicken tooo! Thank you!“
“This place is an incredible bang for your buck. I usually order either the nachos or the polo/bistec Mexicana and the amount of delicious food you get for the price is unrivaled in the area. I’ve been coming for years and have never been disappointed.“
“This restaurant is so delicious it’s gonna make you feel so happy and your taste buds are gonna appreciate you. Is the best Mexican food around, this restaurant is so welcoming it fills me up with joy. Thanks to Axel for explaining well the menu to me, there dishes are made with so much love. Don’t let me get started with their desserts, I got the churros and OMG they were so fresh and tasted soo good.“
“We ordered Cinco de Mayo catering and it was phenomenal! The food was so fresh and the flavors were insane. My only complaint is we wanted more! The staff was over accommodating, they helped me carry all of the food outside of Bell Works to my car in the parking lot even when they were getting ready to close. Another staff member also came out and explained all of the food items so I knew what was what. Us and our guests were so impressed and we will be back. Don’t pass this place up for solid, fresh and bright tasting food!“
“The food is very tasty! I ordered an outer reef burrito with tofu and Cajun beans. I thought it was very good. Great for a quick bite when shopping.Vegetarian options: They offer tofu, mushrooms, and a veggie mix to substitute meat in their dishes.“
“The food was amazing! For appetizers we had the empanada special and empanadas off the menu and both were delish! For dinner we had filet mignon tacos, seafood fajitas and the salmon and everyone loved their entrees!!! Dessert was churros flambé and they were to die for! Service was great, they were so nice and attentive! Will definitely be going back!“
“The chicken burrito I just ate here is easily The Best Burrito I’ve ever had!The melted cheese topped by crema fresca on the OUTSIDE was a real treat! The was full-flavored w/o being overpowering! The generous portion makes 2 meals easily. I can’t recommend this place enough!Parking: There’s a huge lot outside serving several area businesses.“
“Never been here before... food was pretty good. Restaurant was clean... we were the only customers. Couldn't happen to notice the tortilla is literally made fresh right in front of you... if you like bubbakoos or surf taco or is worth a try.“
“This is only my second time doing a review on google. Reyna’s is a definite stop for authentic made to order Mexican food. The food is unbelievable. Service is always on point. The staff is working hard and can’t do enough for you. I’ve been here on many occasions. Don’t make mistakes go to Reyna’sDave & Robin Phillips“
“We have frequented Woody's for years. However, this experience was not as great as usual. To start our waitress seemed not to like us for some reason. Her demeaner with us was stoic while jovial with other tables. Secondly, they made changes to the menu that I don't care for, like the guacamole on the blackened chicken tacos. Just add Baja sauce. Also, the salad lack today's salad expectations. For one, the dressings are thick and processed. They need to be fresh prepared in house. Also, bring back the old recipe for the drunken clams. It was the best around and we've tried many. It's all there at Woody's for a nice casual meal. It just needs to be rejuvenated.“
“I don't live in the area but anytime I am in the area I stop in for dinner or get takeout. The restaurant is a small mom & pop type of establishment. I am not fussy about waiting or service. I just want good tasting food. Prices are reasonable. What I also like is that on my visits I see small families eat here & mostly Mexican/Latino people which tells me the food must be good because they are more familiar with the cuisine than I am. I LOVE their chicken soup and always get a large container to go. I usually get chicken enchiladas. This past visit I got Tinga which is stewed chicken & potatoes, rice & beans = delicious. If I lived anywhere closer, I would definately be getting takeout very frequently. My experiences have always been good,Vegetarian options: There is something for everyone.Parking: Park on the street. There is also parking to the right of the building & there is a supermarket across the street.“
“I had such a great experience tonight especially from one particular employee his name is Michael , I believe Figueroa in your Eatontown location ..I watched him with the customers before me .. so respectful and trying to keep the line moving . He is top “
