“I am great fan of this place. My family and I order food from here when we feel like having some pull pork, briskets or ribs. I normally order the ribs and chicken combo which comes with two sides. The ribs are flavorful. I also like their pull pork sandwich .I occasionally order their beef chili. The owner Bruno and staff Santos and Carlos are very friendly and nice! I will definitely recommend this place if you crave for some barbeque and you are in the Edgewater area.“

“10/10 dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Not only was the service impeccable as soon as you walk in the door, the atmosphere in restaurant was amazing. The restaurant itself is so beautiful especially if you’re looking to dine with friends, family or its date night. Theres outdoor seating as well that over looks the water which is perfect for a spring or summer night! The food was definitely a 12/10. I went with 2 friends and everything we ordered came fast and was cooked to perfection! I would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a dining experience that leaves you with flavors literally melting on your tongue and enjoyment with your peers, come here! “I was exploring BBQ places in NYC and this spot ended up being my favorite. I arrived a bit late at night so the meat had been cooked earlier, but it was still incredibly soft and literally came right off the bone. The taste was amazing and the texture was perfect. The quality alone made me give it a full five stars. I keep thinking if I went earlier in the day it would have been even fresher. The portions were huge and the whole meal was very satisfying. I was expecting a place where you order at the counter and that is the end of the interaction with staff, but they came to our table multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. Now, I’m happy that we can buy as many skewers as we dare (before we pass the threshold of waking up with a sore throat the next morning).This Chinese BBQ skewer cart is a no-frills, mom and pop food stand on the corner of Whitney Ave & Broadway by the LIRR tracks. Most of their skewers cost between $2-$3; they’re perfect for a late night eats adventure! The seasoning the sweet Chinese couple uses has just the right amount of cumin, heat, and spice. We sat at one of their 3 tables this past Monday evening and saw a steady stream of customers lining up for their grilled skewers. When all 3 tables were full, a 4th table and set of stools was set up as well. The cart is at their spot daily between 5:30pm-1:30am - you’ll find them if you see the smoke!? “I recently stopped by Hudson Smokehouse in the Bronx and ordered the brisket, turkey, mac & cheese, and baked beans.

The brisket was the standout: tender, properly smoked, and sliced thick enough to hold its structure without drying out. It had a deep, smoky flavor without being overpowered by sauce. The smoked turkey was equally impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and a great lighter counterpoint to the brisket.

On the sides, the mac & cheese was rich and comforting with a solid balance of creaminess and bite, while the baked beans had good depth—slightly sweet, slightly savory, and clearly simmered with care rather than treated as an afterthought.

“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

The tasting menu was great value and I appreciated that the servers helped to cook, though they weren’t the most attentive. (For instance, we had to ask for a bib as well as refills for water and lettuce.) Meanwhile, the pork was great - especially the dry aged versions - as were the egg soufflé and kimchi soup. Also, special mention to having wasabi on the plate as a dipping option! Would definitely stop in again.“
