“10/10 dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Not only was the service impeccable as soon as you walk in the door, the atmosphere in restaurant was amazing. The restaurant itself is so beautiful especially if you’re looking to dine with friends, family or its date night. Theres outdoor seating as well that over looks the water which is perfect for a spring or summer night! The food was definitely a 12/10. I went with 2 friends and everything we ordered came fast and was cooked to perfection! I would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a dining experience that leaves you with flavors literally melting on your tongue and enjoyment with your peers, come here! The food came out nice and hot, ready for my friends and I to chow down! That Korean pancake alone made me want to come back!! Highly recommend!“

“Went to Sappe NYC for dinner and honestly loved it. The food was so good. We tried a few different dishes and everything had so much flavor without feeling heavy. The pad thai and curry were standouts for me, and the drinks were great too.
Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Overall just a really fun dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“While waiting for our plane to board my mom and I ate here today. The food was great and the service was even better. I ordered the family pack of chicken tenders, a side of Mac and eese, and a strawberry lemonade which was so refreshing. While my mom ordered the chicken and waffles and they were delicious too.“

“From out of town, stayed in the area and tried it one evening. Customer service was top-notch! I was expecting a place where you order at the counter and that is the end of the interaction with staff, but they came to our table multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was awesome and you get so much for the price. I ordered the BBQ wings and my bf ordered the picanha steak and they were both great. Definitely recommend.“

“It's pretty nice inside and I like the massive selection that you can choose from. Definitely cool for hanging with friends or a casual date because the vibe is pretty chill. I usually don't have to deal with a wait before being seated and the skewers are great for sharing because they're all bite sized.“

“I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and a side of barbecue beans. It was all delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was just the right portion and extremely tasty. This is just far enough outside of Times Square that it doesn’t seem to be overly crowded with tourists so eating dinner here is manageable.“

“Being a lover of barbecue, this place did not disappoint me; decent size portions on the 3 meat plate and at an excellent price, the ribs, pulled pork & sausage were all good so now I have to go back for the brisket & chicken; loved the baked beans & the sweet potato mash with pecans made for good sides! I definitely recommend & like MacArthur…..I shall return!!!!“

“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.

“I recently stopped by Hudson Smokehouse in the Bronx and ordered the brisket, turkey, mac & cheese, and baked beans.
The brisket was the standout: tender, properly smoked, and sliced thick enough to hold its structure without drying out. It had a deep, smoky flavor without being overpowered by sauce. The smoked turkey was equally impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and a great lighter counterpoint to the brisket.
On the sides, the mac & cheese was rich and comforting with a solid balance of creaminess and bite, while the baked beans had good depth—slightly sweet, slightly savory, and clearly simmered with care rather than treated as an afterthought.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere felt casual and unpretentious—exactly what you want when the focus is on the food. If you’re looking for reliable, well-executed barbecue in the Bronx, Hudson Smokehouse is absolutely worth a visit.“

“I recently visited Yangji, a fantastic lamb skewer restaurant. The skewers are perfectly seasoned and cooked, full of flavor every time. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying great food with friends or family. “A spot that has history attached to it. Headed in this spot the day after St. Valentine and wasn’t disappointed. Rose petals and romantic decor was everywhere, beautiful gesture. The food was fresh and tasty, customer service was amazingly delightful with Ms. Sherry and the MIMOSA was my FAVORITE.

“I’m something of a BBQ critic having grown up in the South and lived there for 40 or so years and I’ve had some bad pork experiences in NYC. So much so that I’ve told my friends, “NYC does every type of cuisine well EXCEPT BBQ” I respectfully retract that statement after having AU Jus’ SUPERB pulled pork sandwich this evening. I’m going to have to join a 12 step program to stop myself from eating it every day. So good it’ll make your tongue slap your brains out.“

“Mother and daughter day trip to the area. We took a chance and decided to try The Pitt for a late lunch. Wonderful and surprising exoerience. Small place with a big heart!
The gentleman there was obviously a neighborhood treasure. Customer after customer came in and engaged in short but thoughtful banter. He was friendly and made us feel welcomed.
The food was very good! The service was kind, thoughtful and genuine. The atmosphere was warm and homey. Definitely more of a take out or dine and go quick spot with limited seating.
We had the pulled pork sandwich and brisket on a biscuit. You pay for the sides. Coleslaw was included. We got chocolate chip cookies to share. Pricey but delish!
Parking was free and right in front. I have a feeling that parking may vary at different times of day.“
