“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I am making this my go to spot for lunch or dinner, I give Kanpachi 5 stars. Thank you for picking Amboy Ave to open your sushi house.“

“The best sushi place in NJ! We have been eating sushi for a long time in different places across NJ but none of them can beat Sushi O. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The atmosphere and the people working there are also the best! LOVE THIS PLACE!“

“The food is grand made fresh, the service is good as they are professional and make sure what you order is the right thing and how they respond on the phone is professional, the atmosphere is calm as the fish move around in the tank and watch you as they act curious
Vegetarian options: They can do just vegetables on the side if you ask if that’s possible
Kid-friendliness: The kids can watch the fish as they wait for their order“

“Like their sushi(especially specialty ones). Usually, do takeout. My last takeout was delayed for 40 min(first time ever) due to absolute "customer jam". Usually, they are half empty when I order, this time, they were packed, and there was a line waiting too.So despite huge delay - still 5 stars.. They provided me a small table after it became available, brought some tea while I waited, and even added some extras while being absolutely apologetic for the whole issue. Have no hard feeling whatsoever - guys really try their very best.“

“Kids love to go there. Food goes on the conveyor belt (being covered) and goes around & around. You can also order food from the screen at your table and it will come to you (on conveyor belt lol ?) super cool~ oh and for each 15 plates, you get a surprise egg!
I do recommend to put yourself on waitlist before you go (about 15-20 minutes prior arrival) the waiting time could be long sometimes.
Vegetarian options: Many veggie rolls
Parking: Plenty of parking spots
Kid-friendliness: Kids’ paradise lol ? ?“

“Amazing sushi restaurant. We always go here for the all you can eat sushi and everything always comes out tasting fresh. It's usually $30 a person on weekends for all you can eat and around $28 on weekdays. Service is always great sometimes they'll forget to put something in but not too big of a deal. This place is bring your own so you can bring your own liquor. Menu options are great and parking is easy too. I'd definitely recommend this place
Parking: They have a free parking lot as it is in a shopping center.
Kid-friendliness: They have kids chopsticks avaliable“

“Ordered the pork belly ramen and a sushi roll; the sushi was good to my taste (especially for the price), although I’m hardly a connoisseur. As for the ramen, I thought the noodles were decent, and the pork broth was extremely good. There weren’t a lot of extras—just chives, corn, and a soft boiled egg—but it was a really good sized portion for the price. The only real disappointment was that the soft boiled egg was in fact hard boiled, and the chasu seemed a little bland.“
