“Today we had the pleasure of dining at Blue 42 Restaurant and Bar, located at 158 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The security staff were particularly friendly and helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and safe throughout our visit.
While our order did take a little longer to arrive than expected, it was truly worth the wait. Each dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It’s clear that the chefs at Blue 42 take pride in their culinary creations.
We ended up spending a total of $78, including tips, and I felt that the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justified every penny. The combination of great service and delicious meals makes Blue 42 a restaurant I would happily recommend to others.

“I visited Jake's Dilemma for my Nephews Graduation/Going away event. The bar was lively when I arrived, The back section was reserved for our group. The catered finger foods that were served were good and the drinks (Open Bar) were even better..😜🥃
I would highly recommend this place for an after work or weekend meeting spot.“

“Went here while in town for the George Straight concert. The food was great, and the staff were awesome, especially Nichole our waitress. The owner himself was very friendly and helpful explaining how the shuttle works, which I highly recommend! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back for our next concert down there.“

“Hudson Blue Bar was amazing! The sushi was delicious and it was a great spot to catch up with some friends with drinks. Even now in the winter, the views are great and overall a really good place to go. Will be back for sure!“

“What an awesome experience !!! The staff was friendly and welcoming !!! I ordered my favorite drink and they had never made it before but they were beyond accommodating !!! Emily did an awesome job and was so happy to do it !!! Chad was also awesome !!! Look for Pomegranate martinis to be added to their Fall cocktail menu !!! Best burgers ever !!! Great job guys ???“

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“It's a shop that you can easily walk into by yourself, and the staff are very nice. I stopped by late at night, so a bowl of Mexican chicken and a glass of red wine cost $42.44. I expected a 10% tip, but was surprised to see an 18% appreciation fee listed on the receipt.“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. Our food comes out quickly, our orders are always right, and even the manager stopped by to check on us. This place really has that cozy, hometown restaurant vibe that makes you want to come back again and again!“

“Planned a dinner for my husband's birthday last Saturday. Mars was our waitress. She was attentive and so kind. The manager Sarah provided awesome service to our large party as well. “Not sure where some of the other reviews about the bartenders come from. We were here from Vermont, and this was far and away the best place we visited in the city. Drinks were good, bartender made a point to get peoples names and talk to them like friends. John was awesome. The shepherds pie was also on point!“
