“Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! “The food and service are excellent but its incredibly noisy and the further back you are the noisier it gets. I think the cathedral ceiling in the back makes it very echoey. Putting sound dampening tiles on the ceiling or hanging some tapestries on the walls would go a long way to bring down the harsh echo. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy. If we decide the noise is too much we might resort to only ordering food to pick up and take home. I took off one star for the noise, otherwise its a great place.“

He knew the menu inside and out and gave amazing recommendations—especially for the appetizers. You could tell he really cared about making sure we enjoyed the best of what the place had to offer.

“Hidden gem in wood ridge. We didnt have much expectations coming in for a quick bite but the food was superb. We ordered a hot pastrami sandwich and a chicken burrito and both came with great sides (freshly fried thick cut fries, macaroni salad, chips, guac, salsa). Food was piping hot and buttery. Not overly seasoned and the portions were very generous. I would pay extra money for this quality and portion.“

“We hosted a surprise 60th birthday party this past weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the first call to set it up to the moment we walked out the door, the staff made sure it was such a great experience. The people who work there are so attentive and kind. The managers Bryan and Kelly were so helpful in planning our party and Ivan is a rockstar. He took care of our party of 20 and made sure we had everything we needed. We never had to look for him, he was always checking on us and providing excellent service. He truly is so great at what he does. We had a sit down lunch in their cottage room which was so nicely decorated. the space was perfect. We felt like we were in our own restaurant. It was cozy but spacious and they were so accommodating with how we wanted it set up. We were able to bring balloons and decorations and the staff even helped us set up. They had a curtain up in the doorway so we were able to really surprise the guest of honor. Our lunch was delicious. We chose to do the seated option with 3 shareable apps and we picked a menu of 4 main meals from their party menu. Most of us ordered the shepherds pie and it was some of the best we had ever had. The presentation was cute. It came in a skillet which was served on a board with Irish soda bread. It was so delicious. The show stopper was the shareable Irish egg rolls. We couldn’t stop talking about them. The drinks were really good and the bar staff was really attentive to the party. The kids ordered from the long kids menu and they really enjoyed theirs as well. The pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were able to bring our own cake and they cut it up and served it for us which was so nice. I can’t thank them enough for how special they made this experience. Everyone in our party had such an amazing time. The staff here are incredible. We were craving for some ttukbokki and kimbop, decided to try for a new place.

Their kimbop is delicious, great fillings and well seasoned seaweed.

Ttukbokki came out nice and hot. Rice cake was nicely cooked and seasoned. But come on, look at the boiled egg, it’s not one of those overcooked yolk!!

Ramyun and udon was also delicious, noodles were done jussssssst right. I will admit that I was a little thrown off by mixed greens on ramyun.

Donkatsu was one of the best as well. Pork was just the right amount of thickness and crispy.

I also don’t feel like crap after eating the food there, not over seasoned with high sodium or MSG.

People were also great there, highly highly recommend it!“

“Our experience at Pancetta was great! Our waitress Monica, was so friendly, patient and accommodating. She was happy to ask the bar our questions about drinks and answer any questions about food. By the end of the night we wanted her to have a seat and join us for dinner! The food came out extremely quickly and the The bar was willing to put together a drink that wasn't on the menu for us.
