“Dropped by on a Monday for lunch. Place is not short on choices. A deli and sushi place, what can go wrong. I walked out with two poke bowls, chips, chocolates and stuff. Poke bowls were perfect, a delicious lunch that hit the spot being fresh and healthy to balance the kettle chips. Lol.“

Upon walking in, we were greeted by the very nice people working there, they made us giant sandwhiches loaded with meat and cheese.

The Sandwhiches
I had a Turkey Mutz Mayo and Sundried Tomatoes, the sandwhich was LOADED and I absolutely could not finish the second half (right away). I appreciated the softness of the bread for such a large sandwhich, as it was easier to eat and easier on the unhinging of the jaw to take a bite of the giant sandwhich.

The Mozzarella
The Fresh Mozzarella was excellent and definetly stands up to spots like La Bella and Fiore's, and Vinny's Mootz. Perfectly seasoned, not too salted, not under salted. Good moisture.

The Staff
The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome in the deli. They made our sandwhiches with much love.

“I went there because the ratings were so good, but I didn't have much expectations, but it exceeded my expectations.
I had Bibimbip, and although the contents were so fresh, they gave me so much that I couldn't eat it all.
There aren't many tables, but if you have accommodations nearby, it would be a good idea to take takeout. I think it would be a great choice for Korean travelers.“

“I’m from Baltimore City, I was staying in Queens. I came to Harlem with my sons to get breakfast. The guy at the register who was running things was very cool, joking with my sons. It was a very family friendly environment and the food was ????.“

“I came across this restaurant when I was looking for some Korean food to eat in the neighborhood. I found that they have some Korean items on their menu. I came in a little bit past 5pm and I looked at the menu but didn’t see any Korean food options. So I ordered their house burger with fries. Then I decided to ask, and turned out they have a dinner menu after 6pm. She was kind enough and let me ordered their kimchi pancake from it. The burger was very delicious. The bun has a nice crust all over it. The patty was tender and juicy. It also came with a healthy and generous amount of lettuce. The fries were okay, nothing too special. And the kimchi pancake!!!!!! It was so delicious! It was thin and crispy and had kimchi pieces in every single bites. It might a little oily, but that’s what made it so delicious. I like that you get 2 different types of foods from 2 different continents, and they are both authentic and delicious. The server was very nice. Highly recommended. I’d love to come back again!

“The traditional Italian sub ("#1") was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub (hot prosciutto) might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.“

“This is a hidden gem away from all the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area. A great place for a quick and reliable breakfast and lunch. It's also a good value.
We had the Greek omelette and a Reuben melt with turkey. Both were excellent. The Greek omelette was a substantial portion filled with fresh veggies and feta cheese. The home fries were delicious. The sandwich was a good-sized serving of pastrami, melted cheese and turkey with a side of fries. The sandwich was tasty and the fries were perfectly crispy and not a bit greasy. The coffee was fresh and strong. Service was cordial and fast. This is a great casual off-the-beaten path eatery for a quick breakfast or lunch.“

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“The owner(scott) is what keeps people coming back. Just today while I waited Scott:

1. Gave back 20 dollars when a kid had overpaid thinking he paid 40 instead of 60.
2. A mom came in and paid for her order because her son had come in earlier that morning and picked up food without any cash.
3. Told two long time customers no charge - the deli accidently made the sandwhiches on rolls instead of heros so no charge. He had to force them to leave without paying.

This was all within 10 minutes. Hope this place stays in business for the next 100 years. The food is great, and they should do an article on him and this place.“

“I stand by my local delis! Working on 5th Ave midtown there are not many bodega type deli options close by, only overpriced tourist type joints. This place has saved the day. Stocked with just about every drink you could want, I’ve reached the peak of deli ordering where I no longer have to say my order, just call and they recognize my voice and know my order. Service like this is a gem in a land that can feel easy to be lost in. Quality breakfast sandwiches, drink and sand which usually around $10 which is great for midtown. Open till 12 most days with the grill not closing. Literally everything I can ask for, owner and his brother are very nice people and always behind the grill willing to put in the work when busy.
