Online ordering makes it even easier. Pay attention to their daily specials because they sell out quickly. A hidden gem.“
“We came for a late dinner on the evening of 3/26 and it was our first time there since it changed hands and reopened as South Star diner.We both ordered seafood/pasta dishes and were highly impressed!!! The food and portion sizes were very good, from the Caesar salads to the entrees to the bread basket and to dessert (which we took to go).The diner is very clean and has a welcoming nostalgic charm when you walk in with a beautiful display of various cakes. It looks, smells, and feels like everything a diner should be. We were immediately seated and asked our drink orders, and our main order taken within minutes. Very pleasant and relaxed experience — did not feel rushed like you do at some dining establishments. “Everyone there is always nice and in good spirits. The service is so fast too! I've gotten a large pizza in less than 45 minutes on a busy Friday. I almost always get spaghetti with Vodka sauce or Capri pizza and is amazing every time. “Had to give it a try, heard good things. Cheesesteak is worth the trip. Pizza is good, it's good pizza. I like a thinner crust but that's my personal choice. Quality ingredients . The chicken parm is tasty. I love the seeded rolls, takes it up a level. This is a 15 min drive from my house and will make the trip for the delicious cheesesteak . Called the order in route and everything was ready when I got there. Pricing was good. Sandwiches big enough to share.“

“Anise is my new favorite pho in south jersey. Amazingly clean and flavorful broth and tender bits of bovine. Even the limes used as garnish were plump and juicy. Lastly, Anise is clean throughout including the Sriracha bottles on the table which seems rare elsewhere for some reason. Looking forward to coming back soon.“

“Went for Taco Tuesday special. We got tacos and guacamole and chips. I got the birra and my wife got the chicken tacos. They bring out chips with beans and cheese also. It is well staffed, customer service friendly and the food is all absolutely delicious. The bartender, Ally, is not only an absolutely stunning human being, but truly an absolute pro at everything she does.
