“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. “We went to River Edge branch on Friday night - the music and atmosphere are great.Restaurant is beautiful. They have very good singer/DJ, people were dancing till very late. The khichuri, chicken pulao, butter chicken, biryani, beef bhuna, Haleem, paratha, chicken lollipop, and chicken 65 were all so delicious! “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. Ordered humus with chips as an appetizer. We ordered a variety of things: Grilled mixed (chicken, lamb, beef with fries and rice), whole fish, salad 🥗 , eggplant. For dessert, it was a goatcheese with jce cream. Trust me and taste it. You can bring your own wine. Their Iced tea is good. Definitely coming back.“

“I saw this place on TikTok so I drove down to check it out as I am always looking for a good burger . The burger was great and yummy . It's a smash burger so it's thin patty but you also order a double or a triple patty. Served on a nice warm buttery bun and some kind of sauce that was real creamy and tasty and complimented the melted cheese real well. Next time I am in the area I will definitely stop by for another. Atmosphere is OK , it is in Paterson and wish they would open up shop up near Upper Saddle River and I would eat there daily
