“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. “Visited today with my mom and we left extremely satisfied! We ordered two burgers and two appetizers: clam strips (normal menu) and wings (daily special)

Burgers - Very juicy and tasty, thick half pound patties. Cheese was suitably melted, I added mushrooms to mine and they were nicely cooked as well. The fries were pretty lacking in salt, but that's nothing a little ketchup can't fix :)

Clam strips - Same idea as fried calamari, but with clam meat instead. Slightly different flavor but mostly the same thing, I liked it.

Wings - These were insanely flavorful and should go on the normal menu!! Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and an incredible dry rub made from garlic and parmesan. I am a sucker for naked wings because I don't like any sauces so this was perfect for me!!!

Service and atmosphere - Very chill and casual bar&grill environment, our server was attentive and frequently checked on us. I got a refill on my iced tea after the burgers came.

Price - We spent $87 after tip. That's what happens when you load up on appetizers :)“

The menu is a delightful surprise, catering to all tastes. The Potato Cheese Tots and Bacon Mac and Cheese were crowd-pleasers, while the French Onion Soup, Pork Scallopini Marsala, Filet Mignon, Filet of Sole Capricciosa, and Chicken Toscana were simply delicious. “I used to go to this spot on Bloomfield Ave a few years back, but one of the owners (Tommy, i seem to remember) would get a little too animated and become obnoxious towards the customers.

I figured I'd give it another chance and drop by to check it out. It was much more chill. The food was standard bar food, and the beers were relatively inexpensive. The girls behind the bar were cute and attentive. They have a DJ on the weekends, and he plays the classics from back in the day.

Overall, it was a much better experience for me, at least.“

“I've done meal plans for years, I've tried almost every major recognizable meal plan service. Paid nearly $100/week for 4-5 meals everywhere, and quality to price ratio, maybe 7/10. The 5-meal plan from MMG here in Clifton (have ordered for over 6mos), the quality is consistent, the options are fantastic, and the taste is so good, makes you think you're having a cheat meal. Oh and you are paying under $10/meal. Kinda can't be beat. Nowhere is perfect, can't speak to the other negative reviews, but this place has my commit and hard recommendation.“
