“Calandras has a great menu with delicious food! The entire restaurant is beautiful with great service and the food is so good. Have eaten here a few times now and it never disappoints! It was happy hour on the patio or bar. It was a great option allowing for the opportunity to try various items. Best choice for me as I wanted to try so much. I saw various other dishes from the wings, charcuterie board to the Caesar salad and the sliders. Everything looked so good \n\nThe calandras salad is so yummy with a light vinegrette dressing. It is light but enhances the flavor of the salad elevating it. The chicken parm is a large portion with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The pizza is amazing! You wouldn’t expect a tasty pizza but it is so good. Definitely a great eat and the staff are so personable.“

“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

And then we had complementary Turkish tea and we all had desserts which were absolutely delicious someone with a sweet tooth would love. “Trying a new restaurant in Franklin Lakes, we were met with a friendly, gracious greeting from Martin, and then amazing service from staff. The lunch portions were large, priced reasonably, and the food was outstanding. Very satisfied.“

Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“Huge shout out to Fat Moe’s Mediterranean Food on Rte 23 in Butler. I placed a large order consisting of kebab platter, shawarma cheesesteak sandwich, mixed grill platter, tabouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghanoush, cheese borek, and basbousa, accompanied by pickles and sauces,for delivery for 4pm. Not only were they punctual but the food was delicious and reminded me of my days in Egypt where I grew up. Furthermore, at around 5 pm I got a call from Moe, the owner to ask me whether I was satisfied with the order and to let him know how he could make it better… That goes way beyond quality service !! I highly recommend his restaurant and wish him the best of luck !👏👏👏“

“One of our favorite places to take out. Everything is always fresh and the quality never changes. My husband and I love their wraps and my kids love their chicken fingers. The fries are the best and travel well / never soggy. The staff is also always so friendly - including and especially John who kindly runs the food out to my car anytime I call ahead if I happen to be with my kids so I don’t have to unload and load 2 kids just to run inside and grab the order. “We had been driving for a long time today and it was around 945pm and they were the only place open. They were getting ready to close but they welcomed us in and we placed our order and it was amazing. We got the Grandpa, the Sicilian, and the sausage. All by the slice. The Sicilian was so light and fluffy the grandpa was so fresh tasting and the sausage was just as good. Thank you wish we lived here so we could eat here all the time. If these Texans ever get back this way you will be a stop on our trip.“
