“Cute coffee shop with a local vibe. I went during lunchtime on a random weekday so there wasn't a crown at the time. Straightforward menu and food in a little refrigerator by the tables. The food is pricey but looks homemade so I understand. The coffee was simple and good.
I got the Cupids Kiss, a valentines seasonal, it was mild and tasty. Smelled much sweeter and flavorful than it was, which is fine for me I didn't want a sweet sugary drink. The pasta salad was delicious and pretty good for $9. The croissant sandwiches look good but $13.

The front door is hard to spot as there's no sign on it, I waited for someone to go in and then knew where the door was. It's a knob door so if your hands are full of coffee you can't open it, I spilled while trying. There's a table next to it which helps. It would be nice if they have bags too so when purchasing food and other stuff it's easy to carry. The barista was super nice.”

In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.”

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.”

“Moved to the neighbourhood a couple of weeks back and were looking for a nice place to eat... we found Girasole within walking distance and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. Pointing out that I do cook... and well... so it is nice to find a place that I can enjoy without thinking "I could have made this better at home". Definitely be coming back and soon!”
