“We've had lunch here about 10 times this year, and we really like it. Wish we had discovered it 24 years ago! We've had a few Summer dinners on the back patio sitting by the Raritan river headwaters, just a babbling brook at this point. It's enchanting! Try it!”
“We have always enjoyed coming to Gladstone Tavern for dinner, but I can now recommend it for an event as well! We hosted a 70th birthday party for about 30 people in the upstairs room. Everything was excellent. The food and service were amazing, and Sue Farkas was wonderful to work with.”
“Best bakery in a few towns around. A bit on the expensive side... If you're buying a cake... The price is probably going to restrict it to special occasions. But yes it's totally worth it. I got it for an office birthday of a friend. Everyone loved it.The bread is really good. I haven't had that good baguette anywhere.”
“Always a wonderful place to relax and have lunch or dinner with friends and family. The food is excellent, atmosphere is enjoyable and the staff is very attentive.I highly recommend Cafe AzzurroDietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with my gluten allergy. Always willing to make what I want gluten free”
“My family held a surprise birthday party for my father at Il Monello and it was the best decision we could have made. The owner and staff were so easy to work with to plan the party and were very accommodating of our 24-person group. On the day, the food and service were superb - I heard from a few family members that it was the best Italian meal they’d had in a while. This was our first visit to Il Monello, and we will definitely be coming back to dine in the future.”
“We had such a great experience. We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and it did not disappoint! The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!”
“First and foremost, I cannot say enough positive things about Hills of Herat! From the amazing, carefully-curated, fresh food options, to the wonderful, kind, and professional and accommodating staff - everything at Hills is quality from the moment you step through the door.I have been to Hills many times for regular dining with my friends and family, and when it came time to hosting an event, I couldn’t think of a better place that would suit my needs. My mother hosted my baby shower here, and the staff, ambiance, and food were all fantastic, and each my guests shared the same sentiments! The bread, soup, appetizers, rice, and meat platters were all perfect! And I am very hard to please when it comes to food!I really appreciate all of the kindness and warmth from all of the staff at Hills, as well the wonderful experience I had at my event hosted at this location. I truly look forward to having another event at this location in the future.”
“Hello we we're on our way up to Connecticut from maryland and we needed a break and I said to my daughter laurel. Ask your phone where there are gourmet sandwiches & etc. This is where we landed and we were impressed!Yum! The quality of the Turkey sandwich I had was a winner. I like to stop at places like this. First they are not a chain. Small business needs attention everywhere. They have created a cozy but well laid out flow. This kinda makes you want to look into the building further. There was seating and more coziness! We couldn't stay had to get back on the road. We have another trip in the spring to make and we will stop and dine in next time!!!”
“This place is awesome. The ambiance along with the great brews make it a must stop. I definitely would recommend trying the sundown and the burst of brightness. They are so refreshing”
“Food was amazing. My socks weren't totally knocked off but the friendly service and excellent meal hopefully they'll be a little better stocked up next time I go so I can try it all. Probably is 5 stars to sell out but frustrating when you thought you went at a reasonable time”
“Came here for a quick pit stop to try out the famous cider place. Their cider was so crisp and flavorful, wanted to try all of them! Was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon, Doggo and kids friendly, they have heating outside which was nice”
“This past October my partner and I worked with Paula at Cake Fiction for our wedding at Jack’s Barn in Oxford, NJ, and were so impressed! We initially set up a tasting at their kitchen/shop, which was so much fun. Paula and her husband were so lovely and their shop space is too cute! We booked them on the spot, and worked with them to design a two-tier wedding cake and a dozen cupcakes. So delicious! They were a hit at our wedding and we still receive compliments on the cake/cupcakes. We’d recommend Cake Fiction to anyone who’s looking for a tasty and unique cake/dessert for their event!”
“Excellent food, service and atmosphere! We enjoyed lovely wine, oysters, pasta and dessert! Ana and Elsa took great care of us and helped celebrate my birthday!”
“Oakflower is one of NJs best breweries, and Long Hill is lucky to have them. They make a great variety of styles, but I'm in love with their pilsners and farmhouses. The brewhouse is cozy and welcoming, the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. They are a must visit NJ brewery.”
“Always a good time at Seasons 52. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the food is fresh and you don't feel bloated after a good meal there. Excellent service, cool atmosphere.”
“Absolutely worth dropping in! Warm and friendly humans and delicious coffee plus the best scone I’ve ever had in the entirety of my existence on this planet!! Adam and team are so, so kind and will accommodate your quirky (or is it just me?) coffee order with a smile.”
“A small but cozy place with friendly service and really good food. It's always packed here and there's a reason for that. I've never had a bad experience. The English Breakfast and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are some of my standout favorites.”
“Awesome place! Checked out this Tap and Grill over St. Patrick's weekend and had a blast with my BYOB Burger. The beer flight for just $13 was a steal, and they've got a great selection of IPAs, especially locals. Only snag was they slapped on a 20% gratuity for our party of 6, even though their policy says it's for parties of 8 or more. Kinda soured the vibe a bit, but overall, still a great time!”
“I wanted to take the time to write a review because of the amazing people who interacted with us. We were a table of 8 and our wait staff Gabby, Zayn (hopefully that's how you spell it), and Madisyn were quick and courteous when serving our table. They were great interacting with us and helping accommodate such a large group. I also wanted to give props to Jas and Dylan who served my little brother his ice cream and were very very kind. A big thank you to these great employees for creating such a great experience!”
“I am very rarely blown away but DIGs food was absolutely excellent! I personally had the dig classic bowl & a side of meatballs. Everything was perfectly cooked & seasoned plus large portion size. This is definitely my new go to spot!”
“Absolutely love Pizza Da Napoli! The pizza is excellent - deliciously thin crust, amazing sauce/cheese, and the gourmet pizza options are top notion. Great salads too! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Great toppings for vegetarians, plenty of veggie options on menu.”
“I couldn’t have made a better decision than stop here after had a bad work day. Felling so happy with everything I found. They are very very very kind and thoughtful. The cinnamon muffin was a piece of happiness ?. The coffee was personalized with all I asked. I just found my new favorite place to have a time for myself before returning to home. Thanks guys, you rock! ?”
“Linda's biscotti are a culinary masterpiece. The wide range of flavors, soft melt-in-your-mouth texture makes each cookie absolutely more amazing then the next. The owner's welcoming presence adds a special touch, making every return feel like coming home to a delicious tradition that's impossible to resist.Dietary restrictions: Gutten-free and nondairy.”
“The waitstaff were excellent, very attentive, and didn't mind we wanted to talk amongst ourselves prior to ordering. When we did finally order, all 4 entrees were delicious, not to mention the cannolis!! We will definitely be back!!”
“Excellent food and service. The salad with peaches and goat cheese was yummy. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to return in nicer weather to try out the patio.”
“Atmospheric breakfast (and lunch) cafe in the train station. Wonderful historic photos of trains cover the walls. Food is very good and portions are generous. Presumably commuters take-out in the morning, but there is a nice seating area. Definitely worth a special trip for a nice breakfast. Dedicated parking.”
“First time dining in the bar area and in the future will opt out of doing so. It's a bit too boisterous, and service was not as precise as in the main dining room. We will happily return, but not to the bar.”
“Just moved to this area 2 years ago, from the other side of Bridgewater. Of course I was searching for the best pizza and Italian Cuisine nearby. I alternated between the 4 closest Italian food places near me in Bridgewater for well over a year. After several experiences with each place, I can confidently say that Toscana's is superior in both quality and service overall. I trust no others on this side of Bridgewater with my pizza orders, catering, etc. Not only are they my favorite place to order out for lunch or dinner, my office orders from here as well. I think I can live off of their chicken Ceasar salad, it's amazing! :)”
“I just bought a wonderful Christmas assortment here. Unusual pastries you can't find just anywhere. Delicious! Friendly service. Support a local small business!”
“Went to a dinner party, service and food were excellent. Hard to find, poor Google directions specially at night, lack of signs with directions once inside the grounds.”
