“I've been here many times, so I'm surprised I have never written a review. Last night, I had the ahi tuna tacos because I wasn't that hungry and they do not come with any sides. My friend had the filet mignon with cheese on an English muffin which was kind of a weird combination but she said it was okay. I forget the exact titles of what my other friends ate, but there are pictures here showing their food.“

“We went here for Lunch on St. Patrick's Day and I'm extremely happy we went. The service was amazing and the wait staff was very attentive. The menu was just right and we were able to navigate through with no problems. The Raw Oysters were AMAZING very meaty and as fresh as if they just picked them outta the bay. They had a Special CORNED BEEF HANDBURGER SPECIAL that perfect for the day. SLANE Irish whiskey had a special crew there and we were able to secure the date in time with our custom etched whiskey glasses.“

I was shocked when the girl at the register said the truffle fries were $12 and a small milkshake is $10! You can end up spending $40-$50 just for a burger, truffle fries, and a shake here which is overpriced. The 5 stars is because everything was so delicious! “Food is good quality and not your average fare. I like the pulled pork and the turkey sandwich as well as the shoestring fries. All are seasoned well. A bit pricey for the size of the "little" hero but who doesn't over charge today? Only probelm is they seem to have has a gnat problem over the summer. Not great to try to eat while shooing away bugs.“

“Took a daytrip to Belmar and decided to check out Anchor Tavern. The bartender Lindsey was friendly and accommodating. She recommended the wings which were cooked perfectly with their house bbq. 10/10! Manager Emerald made me feel welcomed and was very pleasant to talk to. Great service, great atmosphere. I imagine the Anchor is the place to be in the summer time. Check it out!“

Wasabi mashed were excellent, but the tuna we were served was cut way too thick (both of us had two chunks on the mashed)and the vegetables were Luke warm. And this is Jersey, so it's real pork roll and the Pig does it right. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, try the croque madame. It's the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had, bathed in mornay sauce (known as fancy cheese sauce to the simpler, pork roll folk like me). But if you go that route you may want to share. And the coffee, brought to your table in a thermos, is great. Cool little place, great people and all part of the scene in downtown Manasquan - so you can walk off some of those calories after.“

“I was thinking this would be a table service restaurant. It is a counter order spot with a few tables. The food was very good, hot and tasty. We ordered 2 dinner specials. One was beef with vegetables, and the other was sesame chicken. We also had egg drop soup and wonton soup. Both were very good but I suspect there was msg. The beef egg roll was excellent. If you're hungry for Chinese food, this will hit the spot!“

“Five guys does not tend to get the love it deserves. On this occasion I got a double bacon cheeseburger because who doesn't love more beef and bacon on their burger. What I love about five guys is that you can really throw a bunch of toppings on your creation and the workers here did not skimp. The burger was made fresh to go and the staff was very friendly. Probably the best "fast food" burger I have had in the area. Got a ton of fries on the side. Picked up shortly before closing so the place was empty but it had seating and looked clean. “I came here with my niece for the first time after waiting a half hour for service next door and left.. The woman behind the counter was super nice and patient since we had no idea what to order. I had the shroom and Swiss burger with a gluten free bun - which was a tasty non-cardboard like bun - my niece had a classic bam bam burger and we had the garlic parm fries. I don’t usually order a lot of burgers out and I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was flavorful, not overly salty and the mushrooms were cooked well not mushy. My niece thoroughly enjoyed her burger as well. The garlic parm fries were tasty although I would like them a bit more garlicky. On a second visit back which was also great, I got the regular hand cut fries and they were delicious. I have gotten a DoorDash order and my only suggestion to the restaurant and people ordering takeout, the fries come in a container that has plastic which traps the steam and makes the fries mushy. Paper cardboard only would be better, I would skip the fries on takeout if you want them crunchy. Eat in person :)Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free bun which actually tastes good.“

I usually get the Napa because it has fig jelly, Bleu cheese, sauteed oniins, and lettuce. I like my burgers rare, amd they actually cook it rare. It is moist amd perfectly seasoned. The brioche bun is always fresh. My friend ordered onion rings on this particular trip. I tried them, and they were good. I do not eat a lot of deep fried foods, though.They have great milkshakes here, too.“
