“The bar tender was super involved with his customers and you can tell he cares. I forgot his name but I have never had a bar tender ask me if I wanted a cup of water until 2 days. The locals that come in are very relaxed and Nice to talk to. Drink prices are very fairly priced. They have one pool table and a small Foosball table. The one thing that could make this bar shine is if it had food to serve. Besides that I loved it. Must go to“

“I ate here on my last trip to Jersey, and the food was great! To top it off, the portions were even larger! I had the New York Reuben and it did not disappoint. I only finished my fries and half the sandwich before I had to tap out! This was my first time visiting, but I will be back on my next visit to the area!“

Gluten free options which made me happy.Dietary restrictions: Gf buns for burgers available, and corn tortillas upon request. I wasn't sure about the black bean burger. So I steered clear.“

“A cool local pub that serves amongst other things, pork roll sanwiches. I had never had a pork roll and so on a whim was suggested to try The Pines Tavern and it was pretty good. The service was exceptional, super friendly staff behind the bar, which I always appreciate.“

“Best and most authentic Irish bar in Trenton or NJ Bring food, your best friends and a good attitude. Darts room in back. Whiskey ambassador club Events bring in food trucks and great live music. Friendly and welcoming locals place. Been coming here for decades - always a good time! Sláinte!“

“I’ve been here three times and each one was great. I made a reservation for my birthday dinner a few days early and had to add a few people last minute; they made it work and fit us all in. The lentil burger is delightful, the beer cheese in the pretzel platter and doghouse fries is delicious, and the feta and hummus appetizer is also delectable. Drinks are strong, staff is lovely.“

The Cheesesteak was Very Fresh came with Fries, not your typical bar food. The Drink Slushies were Perfect! Only $5 and It was Just So Fruity and Yummy. “Phinney's is a great bar nice crowd and good menu I just think a bar like that and the kitchen should be connected and the cook shouldn't be a separate issue from the bar.... you should still have to order thru the cook because sometimes the bartender is busy too be taken orders“

“I called ahead to schedule a team lunch for our out of state hockey team (total of 36 people, about half were kids). They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and set up a plan to make sure we were able to order and pay for each family efficiently.I sent our orders in 24hrs in advance by family hockey number and when we arrived, everything went so smoothly!!! Pitchers of water were already on the tables, additional drink orders quickly taken, and food started to come quickly. “I went here for a dinner/holiday celebration with a large group, and we had a wonderful experience. They waited patiently for everyone to arrive and timed our food so each of our two tables received our food at the same time. The food was all delicious.“

“I'm a sucker for Dives lol. Higher-end bars, city rooftops and lounges all have their place, but so do local dive bars lol. Calm casual atmosphere, not smoky or anything inside. Plenty of pool tables and keno that locals play. I got breakfast. Eggs were great, and toast was perfect. Very reasonably priced. People weren't used to newbies coming in but were very friendly. It's a good place to try out if hiking the Canal Path!“

“1000/5 stars ⭐️ from when it was originally the red raven to now the raven. Looks and feels like a comfortable place to rewind and enjoy. Girls were nice too shoutout to Lucy peaches mocha and Shoutout to my girl KitKat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She automatically gifted the raven a 5/5 review through not only my eyes but through my boys too. She bought us rounds gave me a balloon from opening weekend (Saturday, February 4th 2023). She partied with us made sure we were doing fine but the thing that made me feel welcomed the most was word for word she said “I’m making it my job to make sure that you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves tonight.” We were only going to stay an hour or two because of her we stayed till closing. So much love to KitKat from Mike, Matt, and yours truly Nick. The Raven is truly a legend in the making.“

“Great little pub with even greater food. Kitchen makes some good burgers, and the selection of beer has never disappointed. Usually one of our go-to spots for lunch when we are in the area. Also attached to a cool whiskey/speakeasy bar. Check it out!Parking: There are a few parking lots on the side streets, never had an issue finding a spot.“
