“I was delighted the other day when I popped into the playa bowl located in Summit NJ.
First of all the music was fantastic but the second I open the front door,I was greeted with a big beautiful smile accompanied with “how are you doing today, ma’am?”
Very sincere very authentic.
I had to ask the gal her name and I knew in an instant she must’ve been a manager.
Just the way she was having full control .
Her name is Iwlly.

What a lovely person.
She also had a young man working with her by the name of Dylan. I can’t say enough nice things about him as well.

I had a bit of a difficult order, but the both of them were very confident and assured me they had it down to a science.

Let me say my order was to perfection!!!!!!!!!

I love all of the Playa bowl shops, but this one takes the cake. It’s just so organized and so friendly and they’re never cheap or stingy with their toppings either.
I mean, let’s face it. Everything‘s gone up and it’s very expensive so it’s nice to treat yourself and when you pay extra for toppings, you don’t wanna be slighted and this summit shop does not slight you in the least.

“When my son came down with a high temp, awful sore throat, and queasy stomach, I remembered hearing about the congee at Fresh Bui. So I called on my way home from work and placed an order to pick up for him - without issue. On arrival, I realized that the shop had already closed, but the owner was inside waiting for me to pick up. So kind!! I thanked her and told her I was bringing the porridge to my sick son, and she insisted on making him a special herbal tea remedy. She was so wonderful, and the combo of the congee and tea definitely put my son on the road to recovery! I have also enjoyed their teas and smoothies from time to time, but this was an "above and beyond" experience. So thankful to have Fresh Bui right here in town!“

“Stopped by Toastique for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Love that there is a healthy lunch spot now in Chatham. The crab toast was super fresh and delivered on flavor. The juices/smoothies are also excellent. Will definitely be back for another visit.“

“I was next door getting food. I said gotta swing by. Sounds interesting. Glad I did. Fresh fruits & vegetables of all kind. Many shakes,smoothies, & bowls available. I got the “Tarzan” Raspberries, Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Banana, Orange Sherbet, Raspberry Sherbet was amazing…. NOTE:use street parking. I parked in train station area and paid $7 for the hour. I think it’s only $1-$2 to park on street.“

“I love me a good AÇAI bowl and this place is really nailing it. Really friendly service, clean accessible location with parking, high tech seamless checkout, interesting menu. Now to the bowl. Their granola branded as SoulNola is really another level of deliciousness. It has a chewy sweet almost molasses like quality that’s awesome. Açaí was perfect texture and taste and all the right ratios of fruits added. A must try.“

“I recently completed the whole food cleanse and can't say enough good things about how delicious the food is at Fresh Press Juice Company. I've had their juices before and have my favorites (The Healer, Feelin' The Beat, Cold Buster) but I'm really happy to have another option in town to turn to for food. Breakfast options - the overnight oats, granola. tofu scramble, and snack pack of fruit and almond butter were all delicious and filling. For lunch and dinner options, the bean burger is not to be missed as well as all of their soups. The rainbow wraps have the perfect amount of hummus and the kale caesar salad is so good. As much as I love their juice, they offer so much more than just juice! Even my kids love their banana whips. We are so lucky to have them in town! And the staff are always very friendly and helpful.“

“The green drink was the worst thing I ever drank in my life BUT WHY is it that days after my cleanse is done I am still drinking it?! LOL The first day was so hard for me but in hindsight I must have really had a lot going on in my tummy. I thought that the protein shake and the green juice were a punishment. By the the second day I was having a bad day but could tolerate the diet more. Third day I woke up feeling better than I have in years. It's been a couple days after my cleanse and I have actually continued to feel good and keep the weight off! That never happened to me before on other cleanses, I would always gain like 2lbs back over night. Here I am going back for more green juice and even got my husband on it! I received a complimentary lunch box from David so I could see the presentation and try the food that I purchased for the local heroes. I was completely blown away! They were prompt, professional and the local heroes LOVED the FOOD and SERVICE! My box was amazing! I received a breaded chicken cutlet sandwich with condiments. Also inside my box was a pasta salad and a fruit salad. But, it didn't end there, I also had 2 of the most delicious cookies I have ever tasted and a bag of chips. I was so happy with the quality, taste and amount of food that I received. I also wanted to try the takeout dinners. “This Kung Fu tea is located right in front of food court, mainly a take out store. They have all the popular drinks. In addition they also sell macaroons and large tea bags. The store is very clean and organized. One person is at register, 3 are making drinks in the back, one handing them out correctly, during heavy rush hour. I was very impressed with the service and efficiency. My mango green tea was top notch with delicious soft mango jelly.“

“I'd like to take a moment to recognize the *outstanding service* of this locally owned cafe. We have been in contact with the owner, Chris, to help us send nutritious treats (the most delicious smoothies in town!) to the heroes on the front line of this unfortunate pandemic at Saint Barnabas Hospital. My father's been fighting COVID and due to appropriate hospital regulations, we have not been able to visit him - the incredible doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, technicians, and support staff have been faced with not only caring for patients but being their bedside cheerleaders. I've gotten feedback from the nurses that the smoothies are a huge hit! Not only are they tasty, but they are extremely nutritious! There's a huge variety to choose from and the mechanism for ordering/delivering was so easy (they even attached personalized notes from us!) that we've utilized their services several times to help treat the hospital heroes. Also, of note, is their special attention to sanitary mechanisms as they prepare food/smoothies during this scary time. *The cafe has donated a tremendous amount to the hospital heroes as well, and for that, they must be commended and supported during this difficult time for local businesses.“

“PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with.
