“Tried Nacho Bae for the first time and honestly it was great. The food came out quick, portions were solid, and everything tasted fresh. I got the loaded nachos and they were packed with toppings, not just a bunch of chips at the bottom. The staff was really friendly too and made the whole experience easy.

Definitely one of the better spots around New Brunswick when you’re craving something casual and filling. I’ll be coming back to try more of the menu.“

“I went here tonight for my father’s birthday and the experience overall was wonderful. The staff were so kind and welcoming, our waitress was friendly and engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more stuff off the menu. Also the tres leches was some of the best I’ve ever had 🤤“

“It’s seems to be slacking. The ladies restroom has no trash bin in the general area. They had toilet paper on the ground today. Most days it’s clean but not today. I do see young employees talking amongst themselves while working. Which is not a problem. But when the tables, trash buns and utensils and fresh drinks need to be refilled to refreshed. My girls and I had an amazing time at this place. Most of us had steak, 10/10. If you love Espresso Martini’s, i highly recommend the Frozen Espresso Martini with sweet foam on top. Music is not too loud by the seating area which was great! Place is super aesthetic for pictures as well.

“We received an advertisement with a coupon in the mail today and this place looked right up my alley. Having grown up in California, I am always on the hunt for really good Mexican food. I ordered dinner for my wife and I and it was great. The carnitas were excellent and the guacamole was great. The only thing I wish they had on their menu was Chile Verde as I can’t seem to find it on the East Coast. I will definitely be back soon as their takeout was hot and fresh. I’m glad to have found this place.“

“Ordering pickup from El Mexicano is so GREAT! Starting with the AMAZING customer service when calling to order our food. The young lady answers very politely, understands our order and gets it right every-time! It is ready is a very timely manner. It is carefully packed, with salsas and chips. Most orders include a little salad, limes, and yummy chiles. We love the enchiladas verdes, pollo empanizado (breaded chicken cutlet). The arroz and fríjoles are DELICIOUS! The carnitas are so YUMMY too! Definitely recommend!“

The menus are in both English and Spanish and have descriptions if you are not familiar with Mexican food. I love this place and you really can’t beat the prices. “Went here for dinner tonight the first time. Food was absolutely amazing. Stephanie was our host/server and she was fantastic at recommendations. Food was delicious. Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

“So I found this restaurant on “Perth Amboy Eats” website and wanted to try their $1 tacos and empanadas Tuesday special I payed $8 in total but they missed a taco which is ok because I understand the are busy! Overall the empanadas were good the tacos were underwhelming with flavor (all the flavors) but service was fast and good, and it’s a $1.00 but I’ve had better flavorful tacos for a $1.00 somewhere else, but it’s ok 👍🏽“
