“Stopped in on Friday and the place was packed. We got a table ordered a beer and was surprised by how fast the beer came considering the crowd. At 6:00 we cashed out as our waitress Mary leaving. We couldn’t ask for a more attentive waitress. The next shift found us with Kelsey. She never stopped smiling. We never waited for anything. She was just there all the time. We ordered off the happy hour menu. Three different items and an all were served fast and delicious. The only thing is I would recommend coming Wednesday if you’re just coming for happy hour. It’s not as crowded as a little quieter. But the service and food were great.“

“I discovered this liquor store several months ago and keep coming back ever since because of their exceptional commitment to customer service.They carry a good selection of beers, wines and spirits but what truly sets them apart is their “going above and beyond” attitude I did not find anywhere else.If you can’t find that hard to find beer label or tequila brand just ask for it and they will be happy to place a special order just for you.This liquor store is truly a rare gem among large chains where the service is often impersonal and if they don’t stock it forget about it!On multiple occasions Hidden Lake Liquors helped me to attain unique beer imports, tequilas and brandy no other store had in stock.What Hidden Lakes Liquors lacks in size they more than make up in fabulous customer service experience that is second to none.I feel like family whenever I come back to restock my favorite beer or fine spirits!“

“On October 23, 2023 we had a wonderful brunch at the George Inn the day after our son's wedding in the area for the guests. We had breakfast and lunch items on the buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our hostess, Linda was fantastic. She made sure all or needs were met and the service was wonderful! Thank you George Inn and Linda for a great event!“

“Love this place. It’s definitely one of the better restaurants/bars in the area. Not like some other restaurants in the area, that charge you a percentage to use your CC. Not only that one particular owner takes tip money away from waitresses because you used your CC. Could you imagine the owner taking tip money away, because a customer used a credit card. Sad for those other restaurants. This place is honest and friendly.“

“Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social!
