“The Jade Palace Restaurant was a delightful surprise. We, my wife and I, just ordered takeout "to test the waters" having recently moved into the area. We ordered two simple dishes that we both love and eat often so comparison would be easy; Shrimp Rolls, Beef with string beans, and Shrimp Egg Foo Young.The Shrimp Rolls were light and crispy. The flavors of the food dominated the taste of our meal rather than the heavy oily taste and texture that is usually is so obvious in many Chinese dishes. There was a freshness about the vegetables that added to the enjoyment of the meal. The portions were generous and the meal was totally satisfying. We look forward to going back for a sit-down dinner.“
