For a coffee shop in Tottenville I also feel like the prices are reasonable! Only downside is that the parking can sometimes be difficult if it's a school day.“

“We went here for coffee ☕️on a Sunday morning. The shop is nicely decorated, it has a rustic tone 🐮 to it. There's a high counter at the window, a long booth type seat against one wall with some tables, some cozy chairs scattered around, and a couple of free-standing tables. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived.
Like I said we ordered coffee. The food 🥐🍪🍰 displayed looked delicious but we didn't have anything, I was pleasantly surprised to see some gluten-free options 😋 It was also very nice that after we ordered and sat down when our coffee was ready they brought it to our table.
The coffee was decent. I give it one mug out of two.
The one thing I should point out if you're not from the area, parking is not always easy. There is street parking and public parking lots but they do fill up fast and most days you have to pay for parking. Be prepared to walk, pleasantly surprised if you get close parking and allow yourself time to walk there.“

“Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! Two thumbs up!!“

We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. My only complaint here: the surroundings the environment is run down and looks dirty ...hardly appealing to new residents or potential customers coming thru the neighborhood would be easily turned off by the way the atmosphere is kept and the lack of nicely kept landscaping - esthetically investing in A major overhaul and some system of cleanliness of the drive thru area would be extremely helpful and ideal. If you go elsewhere you find this to be less an issue. I first discovered the latte through a social media post a few weeks ago, and now Brewed Awakening has become my go-to spot every Sunday for a relaxing meal. The service is always warm and welcoming. Annie, the owner, often makes an appearance on the floor, either serving or checking in with guests to ensure they’re enjoying their visit. “It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“Had a terrible experience today. They gave me the wrong sandwich. Tried to call them to send me a new one but all you get is a voicemail. Emailed them and even messaged them on Instagram and they never responded. So I was stuck at work all day without any food or any reimbursement“

“What a pretty coffee shop with plenty of comfortable seating and simple, easy to read options for coffee and gelato. Came here close to around noon on a Sunday when the place was empty. The barista seemed friendly and just the right demeanor for a coffee shop.

Capuccino is just right in taste but lacked in design. This is not a deal breaker but just one of those cutesy things that I enjoy in a capuccino that sets one apart from the other coffee shops. Little snacks like cookies and muffins are also available to go with your coffee.
