“You'll experience a lot of local love at Natales which is a local restaurant/pizzeria that some may say is stuck in a time warp based on the older and now kitschy wallpaper but it's a great background for Italian food or maybe even a period movie set.
Packed on my visit over the holidays which had at least one group waiting for a table.
A large staff of young folks hustle out the orders and wait tables. Very attentive too as we were asked a few times how everything was and if we needed anything. We had only stopped for pizza and not even in the main dining room so +2 for effort.
Pizza is very good, other dishes I saw pass by looked amazing like the calamari so will need to stop again and try.“

“We are lucky in New Jersey to have some many great local pizza places, but Gennaro's is a step above most. Their pizza is extremely good, both as slices bought from the counter and as whole pies. It's really as good as pizza gets. In addition to pizza, their sandwiches and meals are great. Their cheesesteaks are excellent, as are chicken dishes, etc. I've never had anything less than an "A" experience at Gennaro's. If you want to take people from out of state to teach them what pizza is supposed to taste like, take them here.“

“It was my first time here. On my way back home, I saw the place and I thought I would just get a pizza for dinner. I asked about seafood dish, Nino suggested the combo and affirmed that I would like it. Guess what: I loved it and I also loved the half veggies half plain pizza. Four friends decided to take an hour roadtrip to give this place a try. DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!!! Cute place, with its white brick facade, and garage door to open the dining room to the outside. It is a little noisy because of the street (e.g., fire trucks passed by), but wasn’t terrible. The restaurant is a BYO, so we had brought some wine with us. We had heard amazing things about the bread, like garlic knots and Ukrainian Garlic Bread, but unfortunately they were already sold out for the day (because it’s made fresh everyday!!!). We decided to start with the Pear Walnut Gorgonzola salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. Fresh, light, dressing had great flavor, perfect intro! Next we had the Meatball/Ricotta round pizza and the White (whole) Tomato Garlic square pizza. SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Crust is impeccable!! And the flavor and thickness of the crust was varied, which was a really nice surprise!! Plenty of toppings, the flavors are outstanding, the slices were heavy, but you didn’t feel heavy after you ate it. They were made really well, probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. But the desserts, geez the desserts!! OK, let's get into THIS. The dessert case has so much to offer!!! I don’t even know if I should call it a dessert case because there was so much more than just dessert. There were so many wonderful things to try, but I was pleasantly full from the pizza and wine, I landed on the pistachio bambolone, which is kinda like a filled donut with pistachio crème. HOLY FRICKEN MOLY!!!! DEVOURED in seconds!!!! But don’t misunderstand, this isn’t just a donut. It’s like, THE BEST donut!! It’s moist, filled to the brim with crème, airy, light, and it just makes you happy!! After that, I wanted to start trying everything, but there was absolutely no more room in my belly. I ended up with a very large to-go box with a lot of the other stuff that I cannot wait to sample tomorrow (aka eat in one or two sittings)!!!! I grabbed a couple of their croissants (plain, Nutella stuffed, chocolate filled, and vanilla almond), some of the other bambolone flavors that were available (strawberry, lemon, and vanilla bean), some cinnamon buns that looked unique and amazing, and a very large chocolate chip cookie! If you have any questions or doubts of how great this place is, DO NOT DELAY, go there now and see for yourself!!!!!“

“I called to ask for reservation for 10 people after a concert, giving them only 1/2 hour notice. They set up a beautiful table for us. We ordered 3 pies that were very good along with a great large specialty salad. We finished with cannoli and fresh perfectly cooked zeppoli. They even let us use a coupon right in their menu. We were served quickly, but were not rushed in the least.

I’ve been living in the area for about 15 years now and just randomly tried this place one day, and let me just say it not only exceeded my expectations but blew them out of the park. We ordered the garlic knots and there was 6 of us and only 6 garlic knots in the portion, our server who was the kindest ever gave us extra 🥺. “Came here for the first time this past Saturday with a few friends. Friendly and quick service. The pizzas were good! We got meatball, margarita, plain cheese and cheese with spinach. Dessert was good as well (Cannoli's and New York Cheesecake). Would definitely come back.

Inside is rather small though. I'm sure it gets packed all the time being right across from the mall. When I got there, it was fairly empty at around 6PM. By 7, it was already packed. Reservations highly recommended!“

“Nice local pizza shop! We went here for the first time and enjoyed the food. The food was hot and fresh and delicious, and it met expectations.

The only recommendation is that it would be nice if they had the soda machine rather than the bottles of soda / water. But other than that, everything was great. And prices were very reasonable.

“My favorite place in town to order pizza from, and get delivery at least once a week. The young staff who takes the orders and usually does the deliveries are very polite and respectful. Prices have been quite reasonable. Food arrives when expected, and without any errors to the order. Most importantly, ordering from Ridge makes for a predictably delicious meal, every time.“
