“We had lunch at La Cabaña Salvadoreña after visiting The Cloisters. It was our first time eating Savadoreñan food and the pupusas and tostones were delicious. Our mistake was not to pour the sauce over the pupusas, something we later saw other guests do, but, the pupusas were very tasty anyway. We now know how to eat them!“

I also was ordering in a confusing way because I just didn’t know how else to say what I wanted but the woman who helped me was fantastic! She laughed, and that cleared up everything, and she even used it back to make me feel less silly which was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. “I tried this spot yesterday on my route as a driver. I really like it. Small place, very quiet and chill for lunch. The food was delicious and had large portions. My only suggestion is that you know Spanish!!! I couldn't order properly bc I don't speak Spanish, the girl at the counter didn't speak English, and I was too lazy to grab my phone from my truck. So google the menu items so you know how to order properly. I wanted stew chicken and someone translated for me, ironically. But I ended up with grilled chicken. It was delicious so that's all that mattered to me. They had my FAVORITE drinks, Jarritos and the glass Coke bottle. Definitely recommend this spot.
