“Cook & Shaker is back after renovations! This was my favorite local spot after recently moving here and I'm so happy to see it back open and better than ever! They still have the same amazing food, craft beer, and cocktails and the new space is huge and beautiful. There is 3 times the amount of dining space and the bar is twice the size now with 30 seats. There is also a huge new window letting in tons of natural light and sunset views, that's opened during good weather. Now with many huge tvs it is the perfect place to watch any sports game!

You'll come for the game and stay for the food and drinks:) I got the weekly Sunday 16$ dinner special that comes with 1 draft beer and 1 sandwhich. I got the cod filet sandwich and the dragonfruit mango sour draft beer. Both were phenomenal! It can be tough for me to find classic bar food that still works with being gluten free and mostly plant based, so I was thrilled to see both an appetizer and an entrée that fit my needs.\n\nThe brussel sprout appetizer was fabulous, though be warned, it’s spicy. I love heat, so it was perfect for me. My entrée, the new vegan enchiladas, was also great. They were flavorful without being overly heavy, which made the whole meal feel satisfying but not too filling.\n\nThe rest of my family raved about the Detroit style pizza and the wings. We will definitely be back. The service was spot on, the food was enjoyable, and while the atmosphere was loud, it was still manageable for a fun family night out. “Was there last night for early dinner and stayed to see the Eagles first TD. Food was fresh and extremely tasty. The vibe here is great. The service was excellent. Our server, Max, was very personable and gives very good recommendations. Max is not the only server like this. It seems to be the culture there. They have a lot of loyal customers. When we left the was a couple looking for a place to eat and watch the game. I quickly recommended Glory. If in Old City and near Chestnut and 2nd give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“We found this gem of a place by accident. Walking near our Airbnb while on a trip down from Canada to see our Flyers play. This is a local bar/restaurant but we were welcomed in and had a great time. Super friendly staff, service was fantastic. It was a great place to hangout. “We stumbled into this wonderful place cold, hungry and exhausted. The wonderful lady at the door, who turns out to be the owner, welcomed us with open arms and began to search for a table. We had to wait a few minutes so she got us 2 stools to sit on while we ordered our beer. Minutes later our table was ready! We ordered the Guinness Casserole and left nothing on that plate! She came over to check on us and saw that we had no soda bread and got us a plate full. We boxed a few pieces to take back with us to enjoy at breakfast. As we left we thanked her and I told her that everything was FANTASTIC and showed her the bread we were going to take home! She then took the box and filled it for us so we had enough for long drive home! I will come back anytime I'm in Philly. I have told all my friends and family to come here. It is a wonderful place. Live Irish music and extraordinary service. Thank you for your warm hospitality and delicious food and cold beer!“

“I moved to Port Richmond about six months ago and I have yet to find somewhere to satisfy me 100% That all changed tonight , I got the shrimp Alfredo entrée! It ended up being the most flavorful pasta dish I’ve had in a long time, thank God because I’ve been disappointed with every other place in the neighborhood. I’m smiling ear to ear over here with all these delicious appetizers as well!!! I’m so excited I felt that I should share publicly, which I never do. WAY TO GO GOOGLE!! We shared 2 incredibly yummy & imaginative sandwiches (a phenomenal crabcake & a grilled goat cheese).
