“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“Second time here and both times have been exceptional. I had the fois gras terrine with peach and chili which had the perfect balance of sweetness to cut through the fois gras, with a little bit of heat from the chili. My Wife had the smoked salmon on Gouda hash brown which although very rich was her highlight of the meal! For main I had the 21oz sirloin and my wife had the iberico pork shoulder - both cooked to perfection.The ambience of the restaurant is cosy, but unsurprisingly upmarket and the staff are all very pleasant.“

Unfortunately, it was evident that they were understaffed (maybe it was just this one night? Things happen). The person who sat us was also the server, food runner, and busser; with all these responsibilities, it was impossible to be as attentive as I know they could have been because they were very sweet and polite. Despite the service, I would still recommend coming here because the quality of food is outstanding.“

On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. “We recently used Anthony’s catering for a small birthday gathering at my house. I was really impressed with the food, the service, and reasonable prices. The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. The salad was very fresh with strawberries and a yummy tangy dressing, and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, when they needed to substitute the toffee topping on the cheesecake I ordered, they went above and beyond to find a suitable sub for us, offering lots of yummy alternatives (we went with pecan and salted caramel - YUM!). Anthony’s is going to be my new go-to when I’m entertaining and don’t want to cook!“

“I ordered my Baby Shower cake from Ridhima and it was amazing. The cake was simple yet beautiful and the flavor was perfect. For me the sugar in cakes has to be just right and this one was on spot. Not too sweet and just right. There was a small hiccup but Ridhima was communicative about it and resolved the issue instantly. I truly appreciate that. For me overall a 5 star service.30th April 2024- ordered specials today from Ridhima- Corn Flatbread and Paneer Makhani Flatbread and they were phenomenal. The corn Flatbread reminded me of the open corn sandwich we used to get at CCD in India. IYKYK. And the paneer makhani flatbread had the most amazingly soft paneer I have had in US. The Makhani sauce was indeed Makhan ?. It definitely satiated my post partum cravings. Must try!! P.S. I was in a rush so couldn't take pictures ?.“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“In town for a Driscoll Food Show. As restaurant owners ourselves we take notice of so many attributes. The ambiance, attention to detail, service and especially the food. Our meals were absolutely delicious. I had the Butternut Squash Soup and King Salmon with Beurre Blanc with Sundried Tomatoes and my husband had the Scallops with Angel Hair. Nice experience and highly recommend!“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. Leading up to the event we worked with the owner who was responsive and accommodating - answering all our questions. The day of we were blown away by the attentive service of of the wait staff - multiple guests of mine were singing their praises! The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. “Finally a quality Pho spot that is 5 minutes from me. I have been going to Bing Duong in Belleville for forever. This place is 2 minutes away and just as good. The restaurant has a nice updated atmosphere with a great staff. We have been a few times and have enjoyed every dish. Recently we tried the beef stew. I hefty bowl of deep, heart warming goodness. A nice change of pace from the normal pho. Lemon grass pork is also a nice big portion marinated and cooked perfectly. I really liked their fried rice which I normally don't care for. Spring rolls were good. All in all a great place that I highly recommend.“
