“I already enjoyed going to this place but stopped sitting by the bar because one of the bartenders wasn’t so friendly so when ever I go my group just sits at a table. Went in on Sunday with some friends and decided to give the bar seating another shot. So glad I did because we got Amber and she was a DOLL!! Amber recommend a great drink off the new Spring menu and it was 10/10.I will definitely start sitting at the bar again when ever she’s working.“

“I absolutely love this place. The Pho here is seriously the best pho I’ve ever had. It’s extremely flavorful, the noodles always come out perfectly soft and the meat perfectly cooked. They have sauces at the table available like Sriracha , Hoisin Sauce and a Homemade Chili sauce. Their spring rolls are very refreshing and pairs deliciously with their peanut sauce. Their fried spring rolls are also super amazing, always come out hot and delicious which also pair nicely with the fish sauce they serve it with. Their Jasmine Boba Tea is to dieeee for, as well as their Avocado Shakes. I also recommend the bowl that comes with BBQ Pork, salad and Vermicelli noodles. The service is always quick and their servers are super kind. I believe the older couple who is always there are the owners and they are absolute sweethearts. I genuinely love coming here, I visit the place at least once a week on weekends. Check this place out and you won’t regret it!“

“This place is excellent. I bought my friend from Japan with his family and was happy to take them to Cornbread for some authentic soul food. Needless to say my friend and his family loved the experience. They were finishing a road trip throughout the US and they thought the food at Cornbread was some of the best they had in their month long journery. The turkey wings were particularly good and I'm saying this as a person who is mostly vegetarian. Service was also excellent with attentive help and the servers were conversational and friendly with my friends and I. Bathrooms were also very clean. I wholeheartedly recommend Cornbread Montclair as a solid business and a great place for delicious Soul Food.“

“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“I brought my girlfriend to experience Indian food for the first time and this was the best spot ever! I have eaten in countless Indian restaurants and this one was by far the best in every category! Ramya, our server was so wonderful. She made recommendations and gave explanations of each item and directions on how to eat them using all the chutneys and dosas. All the dishes were delicious and fresh. The restaurant was warm and inviting! I will be back again and again with friends and family.“

“I am not a big taco fan but these tacos were sooo good. They put an avocado sauce on top that tastes fantastic. And they are prices are pretty average for most taco spots. I had the quesabirria tacos- delicious!! It’s so great to finally have an authentic and tasty taco spot in Garfield. And the staff was so sweet and friendly. “I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. “Decided to stop in after a tour visit to Montclair University and receiving a gift card for Christmas. Everything was delicious. We ordered brisket fries,cheese fries, smash patty melt, Montclair Blue Burger, build your own burger and 3 shakes. Everything was amazing including the burger buns (fluffy and airy). I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“
