50 Best Vegan Restaurants near Woodland Park

“Found this place on our way home from a Fandom excursion we decided to do last minute. I am always weary of Vietnamese restaurants these days...I've tried so many and been let down so much!
What a relief I had coming here!
The food was amazing and service was top notch! Who knew?!?! Maybe some people do and are gatekeeping.
Ordered the spring rolls, chicken satay, chicken wings, pork bahn mi, and a combo pho.
All were great!!! I really appreciate the peanut sauce being a good consistency and the bread of my bahn mi being crunchy! The pho soup flavor was not bad, but did lack the complexity of a long cooked broth.
I will say the water they serve tastes a little off and the air conditioner (was there one?) probably had better days. But those are my only real complaints. This place is about 30 minutes away from me and I will definitely be back!!!“

“This is a local favorite we've eaten from in the recent past. I ordered the salmon. It was a disappointment because it was over cooked and dry even though I liked the flavor. I did enjoy the potatoes and asparagus. We'll go back but try something else.“

“This place is excellent. I bought my friend from Japan with his family and was happy to take them to Cornbread for some authentic soul food. Needless to say my friend and his family loved the experience. They were finishing a road trip throughout the US and they thought the food at Cornbread was some of the best they had in their month long journery. The turkey wings were particularly good and I'm saying this as a person who is mostly vegetarian. Service was also excellent with attentive help and the servers were conversational and friendly with my friends and I. Bathrooms were also very clean. I wholeheartedly recommend Cornbread Montclair as a solid business and a great place for delicious Soul Food.“

“I hadn't been to this place in over 30 years since a school field trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the food service and atmosphere. Lots of fun and energy to be had before during and after the show. Foods okay and the drinks are a good size. Lots of fun if you're in a large Rowdy group.“

Her experience behind the bar should never go unnoticed. I’ve been coming here for over a decade and she’s always stood out among anyone else back there.“

“My first time going there and the food was good. I got the fried mushroom platter with wild rice, chickpeas and salad. I felt good eating the food. It wasn't greasy or had me feel like crap while eating it. “Everything was good. The only complain i have is they give you only 90 min to eat and drink. After that time they just bring the check with out us asking and they refuse to keep serving you. They said they have others reservation and people waiting outside for your table. I think they should let you know when you do the table reservation or when you arrive to the place so you can have that on mind. We Drove 1 hr just to get there with a party of 6 and we were consuming all the time . So basically they kick us out.“

“Okay people one dish i had was so good first time trying fried liver, 😵 and let me tell you it was so good 👍 very happy the waiter told me to try it. And I recommend everyone to try it.
I also had lamb dish that was very fresh and tasty 😋 along with Turkish beer 🍺 sitting in the back for the skyline view makes for great dinning experience.
This restaurant know how please. When im in the area im definitely eating here. Thanks for the meals with superb service.

“Matthew 's Restaurant is 1 of the best restaurants in North NJ if NOT The Best. The food is always Delicious & Service is excellent. Beyond that, the atmosphere or aviance is excellent. The vibe & energy is first rate positive fun & culinary enjoyment. I believe that this fine dining experience is also driven by the owner Matthew who is usually in the restaurant greeting guests & helping out. When you visit Matthew's you'll have a great time and it'll feel like you're on mini-vacation from the stress of every day life while seemingly enjoying the warmth of family. “Decided to stop in after a tour visit to Montclair University and receiving a gift card for Christmas. Everything was delicious. We ordered brisket fries,cheese fries, smash patty melt, Montclair Blue Burger, build your own burger and 3 shakes. Everything was amazing including the burger buns (fluffy and airy). I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“
