50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants near Hanover

“My copilot and I were in the area for some training and decided to stop here on a whim one night. We are so happy that we did! What we found was an absolute gem of a diner! The menu is vast, breakfast served all day, good prices, and really amazing staff (Julia is astonishing!) We ended up eating at least one meal here, with few exceptions, every day while we were in town (2 1/2 weeks!) We trained almost everything on the menu at least once and can say that the Chicken Marsala, pancakes, and pot roast were my favorite. Also, be sure to save room for dessert because the cheesecake is easily in my top three ever! Don't hesitate to stop here anytime! You won't regret it!“

“Great experience, good music , good vibes ! Eddie the bartender was amazing. Can’t wait til it’s warmer to go back“

“The Great Wazu is the reason small businesses are the HEART of a community. I am a soon-to-be small business owner myself. I walked in this place tonight like I do every 1-2 weeks to get dinner. Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." It was one of the most human experiences I've ever had, and I just want everyone to know how special this place is. It's not just the sandwiches. It's the kindness.“

“Food as always amazing twice in 1 week I am a fan“

Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. We have many favorite dishes @ we especially love the thickness & taste of the raita. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we also enjoyed it 25 years ago when it was Begum Palace. The owners make us feel like family.“

“Went for the first time today, and let it be known we will be back. Saw an ad for their "El Gringo" and had to try it, it was amazing! Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese piled high on a soft roll! Would easily get again, wife and son both loved theirs! Ordered some pork belly as well, nice and crispy, full of flavor. The gentleman working was very friendly and offered all the sauces if we needed any, he was excellent. The venue is well lit and had a "home-y" feel to it. We will easily be back, it is walking distance for us, happy to have them in town. Added some pictures below of the food!“

“We were staying at the Parsippany Hilton where Ruth Chris is located. Service was superb. Our server, Garett, was very attentive. He also had a pleasant personality. We chose to order the Ruth Chris Classic which includes appetizer, entree and dessert. Good choice financially. The only thing that I would do differently the next time is to omit the butter on my food choices. Items were swimming in butter. Too much for me.“

“Excellent food, excellent service and reasonably priced!“

“The best pizza in NJ“

“We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

“Finally, we stopped in for take-out dinners. Had a lovely chat with owners while waiting. At home,we discovered the best finger licking food. Every morsel was sooooo good. The humus never should be missed for any meal. Chicken thighs and beef are very savory. Dill dip fresh and cooling where the hot dip was unique and very enjoyable. The Mediterranean 'rice' has a savory finish. Everyone was raving how much we enjoyed our meal. The plan is to let relatives experience a sitdown dinner in the dining room which has a lovely atmosphere. Everthing is very clean and neatly arranged. We are making this jem a regular dinner option. Lamb is my next dinner experience.“

“Agricola is another gem in the Harvest Restaurant Group. Having been a guest of the Grabowski family for decades, I can attest to the fact that each and every one of their eateries is synonymous with the highest quality of gastronomy. Each time I try one of their places that I haven’t been to before it’s like being a kid on Christmas Eve. They use the highest quality provisions with which their expert culinary staff prepares taste bud orgasms. What particularly strikes me as regardless of the location that you’re lucky enough to visit everyone on the team is excited to be there and takes ownership. This speaks volumes about this families culture. Hopefully you appreciate and take the opportunity to savor their wide variety of libations. I guarantee you will enjoy yourself. Treat yourself and your family and get to one of their many locations today. God Bless America! Gof Bless Blue and Gold! Remember Everyone Deployed Everyday!“

“This restaurant is an amazing find! The menu is varied and much of it is reasonably healthy food. The service is attentive enough without being overbearing. There are some outdoor tables for when the weather is nice.

We tried the turkey avocado sandwich and the eggs Benedict. Both of them were amazingly good. The brewed coffee and the cold brew were also excellent.“

“Love this spot, I've been here probably 30 times in the last year or so. Sal and his staff are always friendly and do a great job, and their bacon (or taylor ham) egg & cheese on a roll is amazing. Great coffee as well - highly recommend!“
