“We came from Ohio for a show in Jersey- but obviously we had to stop and see Anthony for some dogs on our trip. All of our hot dogs were awesome, my favorite was the Frito Pie and my boyfriend loved his sauerkraut with hot onions and mustard! (No pictures, ate them too fast, oops..) Anthony treated us so kindly, in fact all the locals in the store were so friendly. I wish we could have spent more time in Verona. He really made our stop in so special, asking us about our stay and even took a picture with us.
If you’ve never been here, you’ve gotta go! The dogs are incredible and the folks inside make it that much better. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. Thank you Anthony for being a highlight of our trip!“

“I 1st became aware of this place from a reel that I seen where some guy was complaining about the price. The way the employee handled it by offering to give it to him free of charge and he could come back and pay if he enjoyed it really intrigued me. Made me think these must be spectacular hot dogs and he knows it. So I took the 5 hour 250 mile round trip from my home to see for myself. Well these dogs were just amazing 🤩 perfect snap on the dog and the chili was just spectacular. The two women that were working the counter were simply wonderful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back. I would have to say they’re in my top 3 hot dog joints. Thank you for talking me into the 3rd hotdog 😜 I need one for a picture anyway since I gobbled the 1st 2 down quickly 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♂️“

“They aren't always there, but when they are, considerate it your lucky day. Some of the best hot dogs I've had, I recommend trying one with cooked onions and cheese, simple yeah, but it's all you need.

I've literally been going here for years (since I was a kid), perfect snack after a walk around the Rahway River Park. You can even ask for your hotdogs to go (they just wrap 'em up and put them in a bag).“

“An absolute amazing experience! With me riding a bike having the window to just drive right up to an order is an A+! The woman helping me at the window was extremely nice and honestly beyond generous manners. I could not recommend this place enough also has a nice beautiful seating outside not only do they have hotdog but they have chicken, fish, pastrami, macaroni, salad, etc..

“Great little place one could easily miss if they weren't looking. Delicious dogs, relatively inexpensive prices, and great ambience, make this a go to spot. Couple of drawbacks though. Seating very limited, so best time to come is after the lunch rush and before school lets out. Also limited hours of operation, as they are only open during lunch through early afternoon rush hours, so plan accordingly. You won't regret it.“

“My buddy talked highly of this place so I gave it a shot. In less than a month I've made the trip 3 times and can't wait foe the next. The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I say craft because these aren't generic combinations, theyre thought out combinations and flavors that work perfectly in whatever way you like. It's my favorite hot dog spot I've ever visited. “Found the spot by accident just searching the area I was for a hot dog spot, old school food truck in the parking lot of the American Legion plenty of parking. I had the chili dog with onions and cheese and a dog with mustard and kraut, the chili cheese dog was very good the chili was tasty the cheese was a cheese sauce of some kind and the sauerkraut was delicious Price is Right I enjoyed it. Also as there is no seating there I ate it in my vehicle while it was nice and hot he wraps the dogs up in wax paper perfectly there was no mess from the chili or the cheese or even the sauerkraut I was able to eat them in my vehicle nice and warm and not make a mess Kudos Sal!!“

This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Gains Burger cooked well done - came as requested #12. Bacon Royal Burger cooked medium - came as requested. The price is fair for what you get and we will always pay for great quality.“

“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. The caffeine gaulo was delicious. The pastel with ham and cheese huge. It was memorable and delicious. The sauces ate all house made. Too die for. I ordered the open hot dog, dog Alberto. Its so wild. The coolest thing I've eaten in the usa. A hotdog on bread wrapped in mashed garlic potatoes with mozzarella (cheese pull) and so many things. Ill be back to try the others.
